Wolfgang was a member of the Thule Society.

Background[]

Wolfgang was among a handful of Thules to participate in the plan to resurrect Adolf Hitler. He along with four others await at an airplane hanger for Commandant Nauhaus to arrive with the descendant of Hitler, Ellie Grant, who was required in the ritual.

By using Nauhaus as the vessel, Wolfgang and his associates performed the ritual known as Das Blut. Once Hitler was resurrected, he displayed an eccentric personality. He greeted the Thules around him, and laughed at the death of Wolfgang's wife, who presumably did not gain immortality like he did. Wolfgang tried not to show how upset the Führer's comment made him feel.

When Sam and Dean Winchester attempted to sneak in and interrupt their plan, Wolfgang and Hans were the ones to intercept them and take their weapons. He, along with his associates watched as Hitler greeted the brothers, none of them paying attention to Ellie, who managed to grab Sam's gun and kill Hans. This provided a distraction for the brothers to attack the Thules, with Dean grabbing Hans' gun and using it to kill Wolfgang, Gottfried, and Hitler. Wolfgang's body was burned by the Winchesters and Ellie alongside the other dead Thules to prevent them from being resurrected.

Powers and Abilities[]

  • Immortality - As a Thule, Wolfgang was immortal and could only be truly killed by his body being burned to ash. Due to this, Wolfgang didn't age over the course of seventy-one years. His wife, however, did.
    • Self-Resurrection - As a result of the Thule experiments into immortality, if a Thule's body isn't burned within 12 hours of his death, they will automatically resurrect themselves.
  • Skilled martial artist/Hand-to-hand fighter - Wolfgang proved to be a skilled fighter while fighting Sam Winchester and managed to fight on par with him.

Appearances[]
