Amara creates a thunderstorm.

Weather Manipulation is the ability to control, manipulate or generate the weather.

Characters with this ability

Unlimited weather manipulation

Characters who can control the weather to an Unlimited extent.

• Primordial Entities
  • The Darkness - Upon confronting a group of worshippers in a park, Amara presented her power to them by raising her hands to the sky and conjuring a thunder storm which she used to kill the followers.
  • God - Wiped out The Bad Place and other Universes with just the weather.
  • Death - He created a large storm in Chicago, and was able to put it out completely in just a minute.
• Jack

Highly Advanced weather manipulation

Characters who can control the weather to a near-unlimited degree but still weaker to unlimited extent.

• Archangels
  • Michael - he caused strong gusts of wind when he appeared to John Winchester. He also caused the entire bar that Zachariah was in to violently quake and did the same to the entire men of letters bunker.
  • Lucifer - He caused full-fledged earthquakes, hail storms, very heavy rainfall, hurricanes, floods, cyclones, tsunami's, extremely powerful thunderstorms, very large lightening strikes, EF5 tornadoes, 9.0 earthquakes, tremors, enormous blackouts, massive temperature flucuations, typhoons, blizzards, wind storms, and ice storms.
  • Raphael - His presence created traumatic thunderstorms, immense lightening strikes and wildfires all over the United States.
  • Gabriel
  • Lucifer (The End) - When he teleports, a bolt of lighting flashes with him.
  • Alternate Michael - Created red lightning and heavy thunder in Apocalypse World. He caused an entire store to powerfully shake and even increased the intensity of the quake with enough force to instantly shatter glass and knock over Sam, Dean and Castiel.
• Castiel (temporarily; while wielding the power of the souls of Purgatory)

Advanced weather manipulation

• Seraphim
  • Castiel - When lightning crackled outside, Balthazar asked Castiel if it was him, implying seraphs can cause lightning storms. When Castiel retrieved his grace, his wings generated a shockwave of wind, knocking over all the bookshelves.

Common weather manipulation

• Angels - They can influence the weather to some degree. For example, Castiel caused severe winds after being summoned by Dean and Bobby. Angels shot bolts of lightning out of the sky to subdue Alastair. Ruby said Castiel's arrival on Earth caused the ground to quake.
• Princes of Hell 
  • Azazel - Could cause irregular winds, thunder storms, and massive temperature fluctuations.
  • Dagon - Her teleportation caused thunder storms and irregular winds.
• Knights of Hell
  • Abaddon - When Abaddon screams, it causes lightning and thunder outside the building she was in.
  • Cain - The mere arrival of the Father of Murder could cause sudden gusts of wind.

Below-average wielders

• Madge and Edward Carrigan (limited) - Were able to create mild winter weather for offerings.
• Meg (very limited) - When Meg arrived at Jim Murphy's church, her presence caused a sudden wind that extinguished his candles.
• Reapers (very limited) - Reapers can cause sudden gusts of wind when they arrive.
• Ghosts - Powerful ghosts can generate potent elemental phenomena like water, fire, and lightning.
• Vanir(limited)-He is able to create a perfect climate for crops if sacrifices are made.

Objects with this ability

• The Staff of Moses (never demonstrated) - Can accumulate hail and cause lighting strikes.
• Mjölnir (never demonstrated)
• Lucifer's Cage - When the cage is opened with the rings, a vacuum is generated and not even archangels can fly out of its pull.

Characteristics

Ground

• Angels can make the ground underneath them quake.
• Archangels can make full fledge magnitude earthquakes.
• Death can influence earth to maximum effect.
• Jack opened a hole in the Earth and it swallowed a human whole.

Electricity

• Archangels can manipulate and cause traumatic lightning storms.
• Azazel's presence was able to cause storms.
• Death can create a massive rallying of lightning storms.
• Abaddon's screaming induces lightning and thunder.
• A migration of demons in their smoke forms can cause thunder and lightning.

Water

• Archangels can cause raging rainstorms, floods, hurricanes, cyclones, or tsunamis.
• Death caused the great flood which vanquished all lifeforms on earth.
• God destroyed some alternate universes with floods.

Air

• Death can control the air and can create hurricanes.
• Lucifer can also control the air and can create hurricanes, but he typically summons tornadoes.
• Raphael can control the air, he caused a powerful storm to shatter all the glass windows in the cabin.
• Azazel's presence caused sudden gusts of wind.
• Meg once caused a sudden wind.
• Many ghost can control the wind and they use it to break up the salt circles.

Temperature

Lucifer can negativity alter the fluctuation of temperature, being able to make things extremely cold, and Madge and Edward (as Deities of the Winter Solstice) can generate mild weather. Azazel's presence is enough to cause massive temperature fluctuations in the area that he's in. Both ghosts and Leshi are able to cause the temperature to drop, but only in the room that they are in (Leshi may be able to do more as it was posing as a ghost at the time).
