I'm terribly sorry about this. ChocolateElemental (talk) 16:07, November 8, 2017 (UTC)

OK. Thanks. ChocolateElemental (talk) 16:25, November 8, 2017 (UTC)

Not sure, if so I need to find out how to phrase them correctly.

Re:Discord ServerEdit

If he wants to propose it, it's his prerogative. Whether or not the community is okay with it is the real question, and he will have to get community agreement on making it official and having him be in-charge of it, so I think we should let due process run its course. Supernatural drop down menuEdit

can the drop down menue only be edited by an Admin? if so can one of you add the Season 13 to the menu options? ThomasNealy (talk) 03:16, November 16, 2017 (UTC)

ThomasNealy editsEdit

What do you think of this new guy and his edits??? I'm really not so sure about some of the stuff he's adding or changing. Can't think of specific examples at the moment, more just in general. When I reverted some of his edits he went on my talk page about it. I want to know your opinion on the matter.--WarGrowlmon18 (talk) 08:15, November 16, 2017 (UTC)

I went on your talk page because you undid the edits with out any explination it was not that you undid them in of it self.  It is my understanding from reading what other adimns on this site have said that when you undo an edit you must state why.  And then when asked why I told by you WarGrowlmon18 that you are an admin as if that explains what was wrong with the edit. Admins should never pull the "im an Admin so there" card.  Not to mention you are extreamly rude and come off as bit over bearing as well.  I fully expect to get blocked for this since Admins don't seem to like being called out for their poor behavior.  To be honest Admins like WarGrowlmon are type that turn people off from editing in the first place. ImperiexSeed may have had the bad habit of forceing his veiws on others but at least he was willing to respond when asked a question.

ThomasNealy (talk) 10:05, November 16, 2017 (UTC)

I was told for years by wikia comments are normally not suppose to be deleted. As they fall under talk page’s policy that like talk pages comments are suppose to remain for history purposes.User:Twilight Despair 5 (The God of Creation) (talk) 18:15, November 18, 2017 (UTC)

It’s not that big of deal, if it’s just a mistake on where they posted the comment. The reason wikia doesn’t want talk page messages, or comments removed is for evidence for blocks or to prove something. But if you already deleted it than it’s not a problem, as it wasn’t a comment used to prove anything for or against another member.

Another note. I think the Cosmic Entity’s species should be called Cosmic Entity/Being as both the Entity and Castiel called it such a Being.User:Twilight Despair 5 (The God of Creation) (talk) 21:18, November 18, 2017 (UTC)

Apologies, sometimes I feel like I miss things or catch mistakes of my own that I want to fix. I will try to keep do edits in one go. While on the subject, is the page edit for Super stamina acceptable or would you want me to change it back? (talk)07:39,, November 18, 2017 (UTC)

About the "Images" categoryEdit

Ok, i will not put this cateogry on redundant pages anymore Doctor49 (talk) 02:58, November 27, 2017 (UTC)

Hello, this is random but I just thought it would be better if the categories on the episode pages were combined into one? Like "Season 13 Episodes" instead of "Season 13" and "Episodes"? I could re-do it if you approve. Touchinos (talk) 08:37, December 1, 2017 (UTC)

Uh silly question but how do I ask for their approval (I assume you mean the other admins)? 😅 Touchinos (talk) 15:23, December 1, 2017 (UTC)

Alright! I'll ask them both. Touchinos (talk) 15:28, December 1, 2017 (UTC)

Creating PagesEdit

A regular user needs permission to create a new page or warning a adm of what about this page will be? Coz i'm about to publish a page for the title of Hell's Grand Torturer, but it's not complete, some things will have to be added later, maybe by someone else Doctor49 (talk) 22:42, December 2, 2017 (UTC)

Edit Message questionEdit

m (Protected "Primordial Entities": Counter-productive edit warring (‎[edit=autoconfirmed] (indefinite) ‎[move=autoconfirmed] (indefinite)))

Any chance you can explain what that means?  It showed up in my inbox since I watch that page but I don't understand what that edit means..

ThomasNealy (talk) 15:56, December 3, 2017 (UTC)

so the (‎[edit=autoconfirmed] (indefinite) ‎[move=autoconfirmed] (indefinite)))  just means the page was protected?  It's the first time I have seen it happen on a page I was following.  It reminded me of coding, which is what confused me. Thanks for answering.ThomasNealy (talk) 20:42, December 3, 2017 (UTC)

Sorry :/ i didn't know that monsters aren't considered creatures Doctor49 (talk) 01:48, December 5, 2017 (UTC)

The accounts that were used for sockpuppeting can be blocked indefinitely because a user has no reason to own more than one account (except for specific technical reasons.) The original account's block length can be increased for a sockpuppeting infraction, and in very serious cases, an indefinite block can be given to the original account. Calebchiam Talk 00:14, December 9, 2017 (UTC)

Yeah, sure. You can use what I've written on my user page as a starting point. Calebchiam Talk 01:33, December 9, 2017 (UTC)

What is a monsterEdit

Can you tell me what is sites policy on what is and is not to be categorised as a monster. There seemed to have been a large amount of edits that add the category Monster to the page and even changed or added it as a species. I don't want to go in and undo them all with finding out the official policy in this case. ThomasNealy (talk) 02:02, December 9, 2017 (UTC)

So I'm good to remove the monster tag on the ones that are not related to Eve then? like Amazons?ThomasNealy (talk) 02:28, December 9, 2017 (UTC)

adding a category?Edit

Would it be possible to add a new category named Animals? I thought it would be better to organize the creatures more that way. Thinks like the Lochness, and griffin that have pages and in the creature list basilisk (which does not have a page) but don't fit in any where else and don't seem to be intelligent species. ThomasNealy (talk) 13:47, December 9, 2017 (UTC)

The page says it's for non-supernatural animals. what should I do about that?ThomasNealy (talk) 15:19, December 9, 2017 (UTC)

how about a supernatural animals caregory? I wish I would have have checked the aminals page before I started, it would have saved me like 2 hours of work lol. No big deal though. ThomasNealy (talk) 15:37, December 9, 2017 (UTC)

Supernatural Creatures that resemble animals but do not seem to have any intelligence either as shown in the show or as shown in lore. the list I have so far is below

    • Basilisk (mentioned only)
    • Giant Turtle (mentioned only)

ThomasNealy (talk) 15:59, December 9, 2017 (UTC)

yea a category. the list is from the supernatural page that I was moving things around in. taking things like the Horsemen out from under the monster listing and the amazons, banshee ect. i saw the things above listed and wanted to make a cat for them to help with organizing. the list on supernatural was all over the place.  like people just tossed the newest thing at the end and did not bother to put it in its place. ThomasNealy (talk) 16:11, December 9, 2017 (UTC)

Capitalised summery.Edit

I saw you blocked a user for editing the summary for a episode. I wanted to check with you first on something so I did not get banned for it to. There seems to be a handful of episode pages that have the first sentence in all caps. I was wondering if I can change that or if it is this wiki's policy to have it that way. It seems in consistent to have some caped and most not though. ThomasNealy (talk) 16:54, December 11, 2017 (UTC)

Fixed a typo above.  I hate to be a pain but my question was not really answered.  can I change the Summaries the are in all caps like  CROWLEY TELLS DEAN THE MARK NEEDS TO BE FED from page Reichenbach --ThomasNealy (talk) 17:45, December 11, 2017 (UTC)

I can take on that project if you want. I just need to know where the "official" summaries are.. ThomasNealy (talk) 18:09, December 11, 2017 (UTC)

Thanks, I dropped a message on his page.  ThomasNealy (talk) 18:22, December 11, 2017 (UTC)

I noticed that some episode pages have the 'first' part of the summary, but others don't.  E.g. Black (not having DEAN IS LIVING IT UP AS A DEMON WHILE SAM HITS ROCK BOTTOM IN THE SEARCH FOR HIS BROTHER), while Reichenbach, Soul Survivor and Paper Moon, etc. all have the first part of their respective summaries (e.g. SAM TRIES HIS BEST TO CURE DEAN) Should they all be removed or all be added on? Dtol (talk) 19:31, December 11, 2017 (UTC)

The main question I have about the summaries is that they don't seem to match the season page, where the capitalised summary parts are always a part of the summary.  Also, recently, with Season 13, for the summaries in each episode, the capitalised summaries are removed from the synopsis on the season page.  Sorry to bother you! Dtol (talk) 21:59, December 11, 2017 (UTC)

Ok, thanks! Dtol (talk) 22:51, December 11, 2017 (UTC)

I have the main season 1 page redone I will work on the individual episodes in a bit. Can you take a look at it before I put this version live. I have it in a sand box right now. Click Here --ThomasNealy (talk) 17:58, December 12, 2017 (UTC)

I finished all of season 1 episode pages.  I will start on season 2 tomarow. ThomasNealy (talk) 21:46, December 12, 2017 (UTC)

I made a mistakeEdit

can you role back the edit I made on http://supernatural.wikia.com/wiki/The_Bad_Place_(Alternate_Universe) I some how deleted a huge section and did not notice as i kept editing it. Sorry of the extra work.ThomasNealy (talk) 19:59, December 11, 2017 (UTC)

Thanks for the tip.  It came in handy rather fast lol.  I think someing is wrong with my pc now.  This is the 3rd time it happened to day ThomasNealy (talk) 20:34, December 11, 2017 (UTC)

block requestEdit

please block he is adding monster category to everything again. undoing all my hard work sorting the category again. He was blocked for this once before as well. ThomasNealy (talk) 20:13, December 12, 2017 (UTC)

Sorry man, i totally forgot to go to your talk page :/ Doctor49 (talk) 01:12, December 13, 2017 (UTC)

Seasons FormatEdit

Hey, I really hate to bother you or make something a little issue into a bigger one but I'm just going to be blunt. Most of ThomasNealy's edits are good but the rest, especially the seasons format? Hell to the no. It's wack and tacky. I'm not saying all my edits are good or anything but at least I'm following the things we've been doing for the past three seasons (there are some users who do the same thing as me). He does not. I apologize for whining but it's literally annoying me now. Touchinos (talk) 03:37, December 14, 2017 (UTC)

Considering Zane is the one that approved it and why I am doing it that way. Which is what I told you. before you went ahead and undid two days of work.

That looks great, it's literally everything I wanted to page to be. You can implement whenever you wish. Zane T 69 (talk) 18:01, December 12, 2017 (UTC)

Great work. Also, it's spelled tomorrow, I'm not trying to be mean, but I thought you should know that. Zane T 69 (talk) 21:55, December 12, 2017 (UTC)

copied from my page. If it needs to be different let me know now before I waste more time making the changesThomasNealy (talk) 03:43, December 14, 2017 (UTC)

  • My only problem with it is the fact that you have to put links and the writers/directors on the summary section when literally their names are already on the format of the episode list. Like I said, it would look and work better if the hyperlinks are on the Episode pages not the Seasons pages. Touchinos (talk) 04:24, December 14, 2017 (UTC)

They are there because they are part of the official summary, along with all the errors and typos. The links are there for two reasons, one to help new readers/watchers find their way around, and two because the official summaries are full of so many mistakes that the links allow for readers to follow them to the right info instead of reading the wrong stuff. The other issue with you undoing it all was you undid the error notes as well, when a actor or character name was misspelled, or a typo was made. The released so far use spirit, ghost, and demon interchangeably. This is not correct info and needs to be linked to the right info, other wise it is misinformation and does not belong on the wiki. I left a note for that, you deleted all of that as well. If we are going to use the official press release then we need to make sure we provide the corrected info as well, because who ever they have writing the releases seem to know little abou the show or who is in it. ThomasNealy (talk) 04:33, December 14, 2017 (UTC)

I made a forum for this topic so we don't keep using Zane's page. Click here  ThomasNealy (talk) 04:50, December 14, 2017 (UTC)

You might want to go back and check your message on User:Anonymous2u. the way you wrote it could be a problem lol. You left out the word not in there. --ThomasNealy (talk) 14:53, December 15, 2017 (UTC)

Season 2Edit

Sorry to bother you, but something went wrong with my edit to Season 2, and I'm not sure how to correct it.  If it's possible, could you help? Dtol (talk) 22:33, December 15, 2017 (UTC)

Sorted it out now. Dtol (talk) 22:43, December 15, 2017 (UTC)

Nav templateEdit

I undid your undo for the Nav. The original edit was removing a duplicate entry. Phantom Traveler • Bloody Mary • were listed twice. --ThomasNealy (talk) 02:32, December 18, 2017 (UTC)

Would have helped if he had used the edit summary. This is exactly why it is there after all. --ThomasNealy (talk) 02:41, December 18, 2017 (UTC)

Hi. Do you recognize this guy? I know this is Supernatural Wikia but many of people that are unknown extras in Stargate are minor actors in Supernatural. You're my only chance. GeniiGuard1CoupDetat.jpg

Thanks in Advance! --Matthew Bowyer Fan (talk) 20:03, December 19, 2017 (UTC)

images question?Edit

Is there a category for speedy image deletion? There is a image on the new images page that is such bad quality I can't even tell what is in it.--ThomasNealy (talk) 16:50, December 20, 2017 (UTC)

Thanks. I just added 4 to it. The first is because of bad quality the other three of duplicates of images on the wiki already. --ThomasNealy (talk) 17:22, December 20, 2017 (UTC)

Can you take a look at his edits please. I undid them, but I wanted a second opinion on if I did the right thing or not. http://supernatural.wikia.com/wiki/Special:Contributions/YellowAzazel --ThomasNealy (talk) 20:37, December 22, 2017 (UTC)

Is he still around? seems like its been nearly a month since last time he was here(12-8-2017). Is there a way to add a second Bcrat? Seems all the other ones and the founding admins are all gone. --ThomasNealy (talk) 21:47, December 22, 2017 (UTC)

I nomintated you for bureaucratEdit

Re:Some mattersEdit

Thanks for the heads-up. I've been moving into a new place over the past week, so I haven't had the time to handle Wiki matters. I'll look into it. Cheers. Calebchiam Talk 04:08, December 24, 2017 (UTC)

Regarding the inter-language links, I don't think there was any error in your markup. Based on this bug report that's still listed as open, I suspect the redline comes up because the Wikis you are linking to are still new and hence their pages haven't been cached such that the link is automatically recognised as valid. In other words, give it a month or so and it should fix itself, hopefully. Best of luck on your RfB - I'll close it two weeks from the opening date as usual. Calebchiam Talk 04:33, December 24, 2017 (UTC)

Source editor issueEdit

I got sick of the visual editor giving me issues and switched over to the Source Editor for default editor, but I can't seem to edit the categories using it. I keep having to go in through the visual editor and then click source to see the cats. Do you know if there is a way around that? I don't want to dubble edit things and artificially enlarge my edit count if I can help it. Thanks either way. --ThomasNealy (talk) 05:30, December 24, 2017 (UTC)

Doctor figured it out for me. I'm an idiot it seems. --ThomasNealy (talk) 06:29, December 24, 2017 (UTC)

Staff NominationsEdit

How do I sign it omg? I keep trying the four tildes thing but it's not working. Ugh. Touchinos (talk) 03:50, December 27, 2017 (UTC)

Silly nerdEdit

I never once argued "everything Sam and Dean" are monsters - I insisted Arachne and Kitsune are monsters using that narrow definition you used, you silly goose. You punished me because of your illiterate misrepresentation of what I wrote. But nevermind - I didn't even notice I had been blocked so your little punishment started and ended without my realizing. But by all means, block me, Zane T 69. Make it permanent. See if I care. SonOfEve (talk) 21:28, December 27, 2017 (UTC)

Episode PagesEdit

Looking back at the summary project, I was thinking that I should start making the episode pages conform to the current Season 13 episode pages. E.g. the cast and characters, the guest cast formatting, the order of the sections on each page... Would that be a good idea? Dtol (talk) 23:38, December 30, 2017 (UTC)

Jim Murphy's Knife pageEdit

That page is mostly made out of pure speculation considering we don't actually know if the knife had special powers or not. Especially since Bobby stated he'd never heard of a knife capable of killing demons before. I want to remove the page and all references to it since its so much speculation.--WarGrowlmon18 (talk) 08:51, December 31, 2017 (UTC)

The Teleportation page edit warEdit

There has been three (at the time of writing this) users that have repeatedly been altering the teleporation page to cite Death as he/she. Blaziken and I have been leaving messages on their pages. Since these have all happened within the span of about an hour, and the next 'user' that edits the page back does so after the previous has had a message left, I suspect that they are multiple accounts created by the same user. The last two were also created today.

They are User: Supernaturalfan7, User: Adam344 and User: Stevenbritton23. Sorry to bother you. Dtol (talk) 18:13, December 31, 2017 (UTC)

page lock requestEdit

Can you admin lock User:ThomasNealy/Archive2017 for me? I don't want anyone trying to edit the page or old messages besides admins. --ThomasNealy (talk) 02:45, January 1, 2018 (UTC)

Editing in one goEdit

I made a mistake in writing before I published on the page for Special Children, am I allowed to fix it now or should I wait a while so as to not spam edit? (talk)11:45, December 31, 2017 (UTC)

Thank you for your time. (talk)11:51, December 31, 2017 (UTC)

Random QuestionsEdit

Hey i was wondering, if a bad intentioned user upload a adult content like porn and other stuff on a article page, obviouslly that would be reversed, but the admins has some resource to delete a older edit for good? Or if someone go to the edition history this people will find the adult content? And also there's any rules of what a user can put in his personal user page for example these things i was talking about? Doctor49 (talk) 06:17, January 1, 2018 (UTC)

Also could you explain to me the purpose of a bot? Like the User:BlazikenBot, the person kind of makes the bot search for specific issues on the whole wiki and fix them automatically? Doctor49 (talk) 06:38, January 1, 2018 (UTC)

Oh, i understand now, about the bots, a regular user need permission to do this/have one right? Doctor49 (talk) 20:36, January 1, 2018 (UTC)

ThomasNealy changing other people's messagesEdit

As you can see in this edit, he purposefully changed my direct quote of the message you'd left him a while back.

Orion (T-B-C) 16:46, January 1, 2018 (UTC)

Now your just being a petty ***. But in this case I'm not sure what happened. I have had issues with vanishing text in the past though ( Warg, and Zane were told at the time so its not first time it happened or even the second.) I am sorry that two letters got deleted up the page though. --ThomasNealy (talk) 16:56, January 1, 2018 (UTC)

Why is it being petty? Because you're being reported? I'm reporting a violation of the rules to an admin. Now you've also insulted me, for no reason. If it was an honest mistake, you could've simply explained yourself, as I did when you accused me of editing other people's comments.

Orion (T-B-C) 17:03, January 1, 2018 (UTC)

Petty? because this has to do with the vote for admin and nothing else. just be glad the glitch only took two letters last time it happened it took out half a page. Usually I catch them this time I did not bother to go back and see the revision.--ThomasNealy (talk) 17:12, January 1, 2018 (UTC)

To be honest it was source this time. And it still happened. It is however the first time it happened since I switched. I thought it was replaced by the rendering issue instead( which turned out to be because of chrome update .108). I'll start checking the changes (show changes) before I publish just to make sure. --ThomasNealy (talk) 17:22, January 1, 2018 (UTC)

There's a page to make a suggestion about a category that i think would be useful to the wiki? Or should i create a blog post about this or suggest in a admin page? And also i started to read John Winchester's Journal and i know that users don't need permission to create pages but i'm thought that would be better talk to you because i'm thinking in creating another page for the real world media of the John Winchester' Journal besides the already existent, since their content are different and i think if the content that i preteding to add to the wiki about it were added in the already exitent John Winchester's Journal's page it would be confuse, this other page could call "Supernatural: John Winchester's Journal" to differ from the another. Doctor49 (talk) 20:36, January 1, 2018 (UTC)

Ok thanks, i'll ask him about the categories suggestions, but what about the Bot permission and the John Winchester's Journal thing? Doctor49 (talk) 22:27, January 1, 2018 (UTC)

I don't want to have a bot right now, i was just curious about it, maybe i'll in the future but now i have no use. Doctor49 (talk) 23:29, January 1, 2018 (UTC)

Anyway, i can create a page for the real media John Winchester's Journal? Not necessarily now, maybe when i finish it. Doctor49 (talk) 23:31, January 1, 2018 (UTC)

Why you don't want the pages to be in plural? makes sense since the pages reffers to many individuals, it's not unnecessary. Doctor49 (talk) 22:15, January 2, 2018 (UTC)

Sorry :/ i didn't see WarG had reverted that, and why there's some pages vampires, humans, psychics, demons, etc, that i didn't change the name and still win the plural? Doctor49 (talk) 22:34, January 2, 2018 (UTC)

Successful RfBEdit

Congratulations on your successful RfB! You can now change the right of other users on the Wiki. While I was uncertain about sysopping you originally, your successful RfB demonstrates that the community trusts you and believes that you have fair and level-headed judgment. Although I've never mentioned it, I've been looking forward to the day when someone else might be elected as a bureaucrat for several years now. I may be retiring altogether now that you've been elected, though I'll always be a message away to serve as a check-and-balance. Bureaucrat rights are not given lightly because, in the wrong hands, they can be used to install inept administrators that block dissent and prevent good work from being done. As such, bureaucrats carry an immense amount of power and are expected to wield it both fairly and impartially, ensuring that they do not close discussions in a biased way that further their interests and being able to take on a neutral stance even if personal bias might lead them to disagree with the community consensus. I trust you will be able to carry out these responsibilities well, just as you have done so far as an administrator. Once again, congratulations! Calebchiam Talk 10:22, January 5, 2018 (UTC)

Hey, congrats on making bureaucrat! (And thanks for your message!) Dtol (talk) 16:28, January 5, 2018 (UTC)

Category SuggestionEdit

Hey, i created a blog post about a new category, that i suggested to WarG and he agreed to ask to the others admins, see the post here. Doctor49 (talk) 00:25, January 9, 2018 (UTC)

I got a message saying this guy added himself to the ghosts and vessels categories. I saw that you had previously said something to him last year about doing something similar and thought I should tell you.--WarGrowlmon18 (talk) 07:29, January 13, 2018 (UTC)

unused photosEdit

the images on Special:UnusedFiles are those pics that the admins are deleting or do they need the Speedy deletion template added to them first? I wanted to help categorize the images but there are over 1k unused images in there as well. So I am not sure about categorizing unused images. --ThomasNealy (talk) 01:45, January 15, 2018 (UTC)

I guess I am requesting the content rights then. I don't mind work like that. It is stuff that needs to be done and helps the wiki. It will give me something to do, and repetitive tasks like that can be calming. --ThomasNealy (talk) 02:23, January 15, 2018 (UTC)

Thanks. I'll start working on the photos. Does it say when the last time it was linked to a page was? I think I'm not seeing that info, or I just don't know where to look. I see the upload date but not a last used date. --ThomasNealy (talk) 03:04, January 15, 2018 (UTC)

So I ran in to an issue I'm not sure what to do with. I have an image that is not used on this wiki but is linked to by other non-supernatural wikis? I thought that when the shared image thing came up it was decided not to act as a image host for other wikis let alone non-supernatural wikis. this one is the first I came across I think. File:Death.jpg --ThomasNealy (talk) 08:25, January 15, 2018 (UTC) Edit:removed file link for deletion--ThomasNealy (talk) 15:49, January 15, 2018 (UTC)

lol I removed the link for the pic i put on the post so i could delete the image without leaving a red link. --ThomasNealy (talk) 16:47, January 15, 2018 (UTC)

RE: BotEdit

So it's not preferable to have direct links, as opposed to redirects? I asked this to WarGrowlmon18 about a week ago, and I still haven't received an answer.

Orion (T-B-C) 19:41, January 15, 2018 (UTC)

I can probably filter articles based on size. So under 50K, direct links, and over 50K, redirects?

Orion (T-B-C) 19:53, January 15, 2018 (UTC)

I'll see how I can filter articles and use that. Keep in mind, however, I don't know how to "tell" the bot to replace all direct links with redirects and vice-versa. It'd have to be done on a case-by-case basis, meaning I'd have to compile a list of redirects. For now, I'll stick to the most common stuff, like Monsters, Humans, Demons, Angels, and main characters.

I'll try to learn how to use a better bot when I have the time.

Orion (T-B-C) 20:01, January 15, 2018 (UTC)

Ok, but and the big pages like the main characters' ones?  Doctor49 (talk) 20:09, January 15, 2018 (UTC)

Small issue: should I also have the bot replace direct links with redirects when the direct link/proper name would make more sense from a reader's perspective? For example, calling The Darkness "Amara", or calling God "Chuck".

Orion (T-B-C) 21:08, January 15, 2018 (UTC)

I agree with that. Depending on the context of what is being said of course. particularly with Amara, I think more people reference the name Amara then The Darkness. --ThomasNealy (talk) 21:14, January 15, 2018 (UTC)

I have a date tomorrow, so this will only be done two days from now, since I won't have time to compile a proper list of redirects. For now, I should have replaced every single instance of <small></small> with c.

Orion (T-B-C) 23:44, January 15, 2018 (UTC)

WarGrowlmon18 recently reverted one of my bot's edits that replaced direct links with redirects. I had asked him about the direct link/redirect thing when he reverted my bot's edits to do the opposite, but he never replied, which is why I asked you. I now told him to take it up with you, but given that he seems to be ignoring my messages (based on the fact that I sent him three messages about the original incident over the course of one week, give or take), I'm leaving you one to ask you to contact him. See if maybe he doesn't ignore your messages.

10/10 admin, that guy.

User_talk:PlatinumFist(7 uploaded an image yesterday. it is a close crop of an image we already have. He has not used the image on any page. I did advise him of the police on personal images, and said I would delete it after 24 hours if it was not used. Can I follow through and delete it or did I over step? --ThomasNealy (talk) 00:36, January 17, 2018 (UTC)

Sorry bout the (&). I'll keep that In-Mind. Have-A-Good-Day + Thanks-For-The-Info.

Category CreaturesEdit

The Category:Creatures and the categories Category:Season 1 Creatures, Category:Season 2 Creatures, Category:Season 3 Creatures, Category:Season 4 Creatures, etc are just to pages dedicated to species like Vampires and Werewolves or to individual characters like Benny and Garth as well? Doctor49 (talk) 22:51, January 18, 2018 (UTC)

Yeah, but like the Vanir, the hookman, death, etc.Do you want me to remove the individuals from these categories? I could do it with no problem. Also, the Hunter should be in these categories to? With some exeptions, the are just humans. Doctor49 (talk) 23:27, January 18, 2018 (UTC)

Ok. Doctor49 (talk) 23:37, January 18, 2018 (UTC)

User:Thetwindler has decided to break the consensus on the monster page. I don't know if you want to look in to it or not. but I undid the edit since a concensses was reach a long time ago on what did and did not go on the moster page. he has also created a new page to shift all the ones he is shifting off the page. --ThomasNealy (talk) 21:54, January 19, 2018 (UTC)

the issue was that it was brought up before on the monster talk page. no new debate was brought up about it. the consensus was that anything that did not have a known origin, was not a god, angel, or demon was placed on the monster page. I have no issue with it if he wants to start a new debate on it. but he just went ahead and did it. now mind that I was on the side of monsters only on the monster page debate last time. but as I have been told we need to respect consess. see Talk:Monster#Monsters_omitted since the old debate was closed if he wants to change it he would have to reopen it not just change it. --ThomasNealy (talk) 22:29, January 19, 2018 (UTC)

The debate on what goes on the monster page has been reopened. Your opinion on the issue would be welcome. you can find the link here Talk:Monster#Monsters_omitted_part_2 Thank you--ThomasNealy (talk) 22:53, January 19, 2018 (UTC)

Can you close out the discussion on this and provide the decision? It has been going to awhile now and It doesn't look like anyone else is adding to the debate now. --ThomasNealy (talk) 03:30, February 7, 2018 (UTC)

This one too while you're at it if you can. Talk:Jack_(Nephilim)#Cass_and_resurrection --ThomasNealy (talk) 03:32, February 7, 2018 (UTC)

this probably all got buried under the notices of the attack so I am "bumping" this message" --ThomasNealy (talk) 15:30, February 7, 2018 (UTC)

I thought you would like to know that Caleb has posted a Notice of Intent to close the discussion. He has also provided an idea on a compromise since he could see no clear resolution from the debate. Your opinion would be welcome on the matter. Thank You. --ThomasNealy (talk) 18:11, February 11, 2018 (UTC)

Okay so hi, I wasn't going to bring this topic up but after seeing what happened to Buffyfan123, I thought this is a good time to say it. I don't like how the blocking works on this wiki so could it be changed up a bit? Like, I think the immediate blocking should only apply to the anonymous users or users who intentionally vandalize a page (and users who are just... dicks) and registered users (with a decent amount of edit count) should only be given at least 3 warnings before catching a block. I don't mean to sound rude though.. Touchinos (talk) 05:44, January 26, 2018 (UTC)

Oh, okay. I understand now. Thank you for replying x Touchinos (talk) 14:23, January 27, 2018 (UTC)

Wayward SistersEdit

Are we going to be including stuff from the spin off on the wiki? If so should we update the main page to include it?--ThomasNealy (talk) 17:35, January 30, 2018 (UTC)

I can do it once the show starts and we have a page to point it to. on a side note in the same section should Crowly be removed, since he is not a star of the show any more, or even on the show any more? Sereph will have to do the nav bar at the top though for it, i have no clue how to edit that--ThomasNealy (talk) 18:39, January 30, 2018 (UTC)

the drop down that says Supernatural needs to have season 13 added and a new dropdown for wayward sisters added as well once the show starts properly. Maybe the Supernatural drop down should be altered to list the two shows, comic, books, and anime. then sub menus for the era for the shows. and on another side note Dtol needs to be added to the admin list as well. --ThomasNealy (talk) 19:35, January 30, 2018 (UTC)

sweet. i fixed up the main page does it look ok?

also I added protection to 3 pages because of a unregistered user vandalizing them. can you see if i did it right. they were editi waring on one of the pages by vandalising it and started on another. --ThomasNealy (talk) 20:40, January 30, 2018 (UTC)

patrolled pagesEdit

Can you explain why some edits are marked for patrol and some are not? I'm really even sure what the point of the patrol is, i just keep seeing these red marks saying its needs patrol. I follow the links and mark them, not sure if i should be doing it or not though or as I said what it is for.--ThomasNealy (talk) 13:38, February 2, 2018 (UTC)

I know he is a old user and has a lot of edits but he uploaded over 20 images yesterday and has not used any of them. I left a message about using them or deleting them and they still have not been used. He did categorises all of them though. Should I go ahead and delete them after the 24 hours is up?See here --ThomasNealy (talk) 13:52, February 2, 2018 (UTC)

Can you give him a warning? it seems like he is just doing it to get edits on his count. and he has not responded to my message at all but has continued to upload more images. --ThomasNealy (talk) 19:42, February 2, 2018 (UTC)

Thanks. After deleting a thousand(or more) of the things and still only being up to august 2013, having him add 40 more was starting to irritate me. --ThomasNealy (talk) 19:58, February 2, 2018 (UTC)

No problem, i try to break it up into manageable groups so I don't get burned out and let my wrist rest lol. It will probably take a few months to get through it all. So many of them are the same image or close enough that it would not matter. I wish people would check to see if there is a usable image before they just add one. How many of the same picture of Ruby and Meg do we really need. or the 30+ of the colt. After I'm done with with this project I'm purging the duplicates next(if there are any left). --ThomasNealy (talk) 20:12, February 2, 2018 (UTC)

This was actually the 2nd time he has made vague threats to you. the last time he said "Since the being in debate is in fact - a monster - your 'warning' is null. so if you go all admin on me and pull your blocking thing, we will meet in a different forum.Reka12452 (talk) 00:08, December 19, 2016 (UTC)" I don't want to post it on the forum because I do not want to get in to a another toxic thing like what happened with Orion. --ThomasNealy (talk) 00:03, February 4, 2018 (UTC)

If someone told me they would meet me in a different forum like that, I would expect someone holding gun outside my house. I used to do tech support for Verizon and I got threats like that all the time. We were required to report it to the FBI if it was cross state or state police if it was in state. they never messed around with threats no matter how vague or seemingly harmless they were. --ThomasNealy (talk) 00:12, February 4, 2018 (UTC)

Please see my response to your message on my talk page. Thanks Reka12452 (talk) 00:31, February 3, 2018 (UTC)

After looking at the block log, I noticed that IP address is blocked infinitely. I thought it was a little too harsh, considering that IP addresses can change and on Caleb's page, it says that IP addresses should never be infinitely blocked, so I thought that I'd ask you for your opinion. Thanks Dtol (talk) 16:07, February 3, 2018 (UTC)

I did orignally think that the block was a little hasty (especially for longer-term users with more than 1000 edits), and that it warranted a discussion/consensus before it happened to see what everyone thought etc. However, their behaviour was inappropriate, and it did sound a lot like threatening instead of taking a mature side to warnings, so I do agree that a block is required (a few months maybe). I think that an infinite block may be a bit much, because they haven't been harassing and threatening multiple users over a relatively long period of time, but I wasn't the one being threatened, after all. We'll see what Caleb thinks, anyway. Dtol (talk) 17:39, February 3, 2018 (UTC)

Please see my response here. Cheers. Calebchiam Talk 18:17, February 3, 2018 (UTC)
Since the discussion is already underway, we will have to let the discussion take its course. I will close the discussion within a week, provided there are no further inputs from the community. As you've noted, most people would not consider Reka's statements as a threat of physical violence. As consensus is about really about whether the points are well-argued, votes that just state a stance without actually addressing the issue being discussed (see WG18's comment) do not contribute anything significant to the discussion. All this will be taken into account in the closing judgement, so the discussion should just be allowed to take its course right now. Calebchiam Talk 19:57, February 5, 2018 (UTC)

Image PolicyEdit

I've never actually claimed that one should be creating policies unilaterally. The other policies are common to most Wikis and set up basic editorial and user treatment practices. I set them up without discussion at the time because the Wiki was younger and needed some basic policies in place - but none of the policies are of my creation; they were copied over from the best practices of Wikipedia and other large Wikis.

I have moved your Image Policy to Supernatural Wiki:Image Policy. This is not a basic / typical policy and it in fact proposes something that may be controversial ("All images must be used within 24 hours") This may be feasible but this policy should be passed through community consensus, especially since we do have a community of established and experienced users (unlike back when the other policies were created.) Cheers. Calebchiam Talk 19:09, February 3, 2018 (UTC)

I don't actually think we need a sockpuppeting policy because it's almost a given. If anything, sockpuppeting should be listed as disallowed under the blocking policy. It's not important enough on its own to merit its own policy page. Also, it seems that we had a misunderstanding. When you asked if you could put it in policy, I was under the impression that you were preparing a proposed policy that you would seek community approval at a later stage, hence my agreement. Evidently not, but this was a genuine mistake on both sides. Cheers. Calebchiam Talk 20:27, February 3, 2018 (UTC)

New Policy DiscussionEdit

A new policy is being proposed you can find more information here and give your opinion here Standard vote options apply. Thank you. --ThomasNealy (talk) 20:44, February 3, 2018 (UTC)

I'm going to hold off on the deleting the images until the policy officially passes so that no one can complain about it. --ThomasNealy (talk) 14:50, February 4, 2018 (UTC)

Please look at what I added and see if it looks ok. I tried to accommodate the others. --ThomasNealy (talk) 02:56, February 12, 2018 (UTC)

Template GuideEdit

I realize that I post a lot of messages on your page sorry. I wanted run an idea by you and the other admins before I started on it to see you you thought it was worth doing or unneeded. I want to make a Guide to our templates. One that will show what they are, what they are used for, and how to use them. once it's done I would like to have it added to the top nav bar if possible. I would also like to review the templates and open talks on deleting ones that have no use any longer. Is this something that you think would be ok? --ThomasNealy (talk) 15:55, February 4, 2018 (UTC)

this is what I i have in mind. User:ThomasNealy/sandbox/Template_Guide --ThomasNealy (talk) 18:22, February 4, 2018 (UTC)

All of these templates are unused on the wiki. Category:Candidate Templates for Deletion. do I need to start a topic in the forum to get rid of them? I checked what links to them and most just link to each other but no wiki page. others link to nothing. --ThomasNealy (talk) 00:24, February 10, 2018 (UTC)

Deleted, thanks. --ThomasNealy (talk) 01:51, February 10, 2018 (UTC)

Well you asked for my opinion and my ultimate opinion is that it was more like children bickering than a forum discussion. I mean really, Zane. That sounded like the bickering between children I'd hear when I worked at a summer camp with little kids!!!--WarGrowlmon18 (talk) 18:43, February 6, 2018 (UTC)

What's going on???Edit

What the hell is going on with that unregistered guy erasing everything and replacing it with his signature?!?!?! I infinitely blocked him for that stunt but he's unregistered so he might just try it again from somewhere else.--WarGrowlmon18 (talk) 05:00, February 7, 2018 (UTC)

Okay, I can't be totally sure as I've never done it before and it took me awhile to even figure out where to look but I think I've set it so that only registered users can edit on here. Guess time will tell though.--WarGrowlmon18 (talk) 05:28, February 7, 2018 (UTC)

Hi corny4life ask to have the gabriel blog deleted. I was able to delete his reply post but not the blog. Can you tell me how?--ThomasNealy (talk) 02:45, February 9, 2018 (UTC)

Official Promotional PicturesEdit

Hello, I'm planning on replacing/adding the promotional pictures of Season 10 and maybe the rest too. Is that okay or would that be too much work? Touchinos (talk) 14:10, February 10, 2018 (UTC)

Okay, I just wanted to check first. Thank you! Touchinos (talk) 14:44, February 10, 2018 (UTC)

That is the one that Orion redid. Did he not replace the template?--ThomasNealy (talk) 15:17, February 10, 2018 (UTC)

I did not make those. I added them to the template category and added the preview like the others. I will look at them though see what is going on. --ThomasNealy (talk) 15:30, February 10, 2018 (UTC)

I rolled them back to be safe but there is nothing wrong with the code. and they are still showing non-portable as well. is the page real time or cached once a day? they all use the portable wiki mark up.--ThomasNealy (talk) 15:51, February 10, 2018 (UTC)

It only converts if there are <div> </div> in it. The <Infobox> </infobox> is in use on all of them. The code is the same as the others as well. there does not seem to be any issue with the code. The one that was listed for awhile is also missing now the comic one. I'll contact someone and see if they know what is going on. I posted this on my page by mistake. --ThomasNealy (talk) 16:14, February 10, 2018 (UTC)

I did some digging over on the portability hub on community central. it seems that there is a known bug that lists edited infobox templates on the insite page even of they are portable ( they do leave the page after time though). I put in a request to have it looked at any way. the page is cached by the way once in 24 hrs. --ThomasNealy (talk) 17:01, February 10, 2018 (UTC)

they gave me a work around for the bug. the census tool is what is not working. it does not understand manual edits. so what we have to do is if we change anything is save it and wait for it to show up on insite then copy the code and paste it into the convert window and publish it and implement the new draft. and it forces the census tool to work right. talk about a pain. --ThomasNealy (talk) 17:22, February 10, 2018 (UTC)

is there a reason that the creatures are split between the recurring character and creature template? should they all be on one? --ThomasNealy (talk) 20:25, February 10, 2018 (UTC)

Special:WhatLinksHere/Template:RecurringCharacters the creatures like werewolves and Wendigo for example use different templates but both are creatures not characters. Werewolves uses RecurringCharacters and Wendigo uses Creatures. Is one prefered over the other and should they be transitioned to one or the other? --ThomasNealy (talk) 20:38, February 10, 2018 (UTC) Im only asking because I'm still working on my guide and want to have accurate info in it. --ThomasNealy (talk) 20:40, February 10, 2018 (UTC)

do you know which one would be best to ask? I'm little lost on it be honest. I thought I had all the info boxes sorted then i noticed the difference on the two. but the creature template does not say when to use it. --ThomasNealy (talk) 21:00, February 10, 2018 (UTC)

Creature infobox TemplateEdit

I want to replace the Template for the creature infobox with a new one that has more information on it. I started a forum topic about it here if you give your opinion on it. --ThomasNealy (talk) 04:50, February 14, 2018 (UTC)

Would giving feedback on how it looks and if I missed any fields count as not being neutral? I can understand not waying in on its use or implementation. can you think on any one that would be good at giving design feedback for it? --ThomasNealy (talk) 19:56, February 14, 2018 (UTC)

Re:Imperiexseed SockpuppetEdit

Seems fair. Notice that his way of signing the dates of his posts is identical to Imperiexseed's, so I would go for it. Sockpuppet accounts can be blocked indefinitely, as usual. Calebchiam Talk 01:23, February 20, 2018 (UTC)

That being said, requesting a checkuser would be the best way to go. Calebchiam Talk 01:30, February 20, 2018 (UTC)

Your sure PsychoVenom was a sockpuppet for that guy??? How can you be so sure??? And how did he manage to pull that off in the first place, creating another account on here???--WarGrowlmon18 (talk) 22:36, February 20, 2018 (UTC)

Ah. How did that guy manage to create another account to harass us is a good question though. He should not be able to do that.--WarGrowlmon18 (talk) 01:07, February 21, 2018 (UTC)

Did you look at that guy's main page btw??? Not his talk page, his main page. He put up a rather derogatory message on his main user page directed at you Zane and then there was something there about Mary. I really don't want to repeat what Psycho/Imperiex said about you on the Psycho user page.--WarGrowlmon18 (talk) 01:10, February 21, 2018 (UTC)

Misread that. Sorry.--WarGrowlmon18 (talk) 01:40, February 21, 2018 (UTC)
