WelcomeEdit

Hi, welcome to Supernatural Wiki! Thanks for your edit to the User blog:Jenses Ross Ackles/Who Is The Greatest Villain of the Supernatural? page.

Please leave a message on my talk page if I can help with anything! -- Thesilentpoethosea (Talk) 00:23, October 14, 2012

Re:The archangel page... Edit

Hey Savannah, thanks for pointing this out. I've opened the article up for editing. This sort of pre-emptive protection isn't necessary on Wikis and I've told this ImperiexSeed before on Talk:Death. Let me know if you do find any other articles that need their protection removed. Cheers! Calebchiam Talk 07:08, November 4, 2012 (UTC)

Seriously, Savannah?! Do you sincerely think I reverted that Wiki contributor's edit--one, it's officially against Wiki standard to belligerently undo or toy with someone's conversation, and two, I wouldn't waste my time re-writing someone's conversation. That said, I can tell you confidently, I did not. -- ImperiexSeed, 6:12 PM, December 1st 2012

Response to your messageEdit

Thanks, Savannah, I will make note of that. This not the first instance ImperiexSeed has tampered with one of my messages on a talk page as I have reason to believe he may done so at least once before.  Unfortunately, I feel there is nothing I can do about it at this time as there is inconclusive evidence to suggest his revert was deliberate and could be viewed accidental instead by Calebchiam if I were to bring it to his attention. However, I am opened to any advice you may have on the matter if you think I should do otherwise. On a final note, I fully understand you wanting to stay out of the matter between myself, FTWinchester and ImperiexSeed, as feel the same way about the debate over the questionability of Zachariah being a Seaph, so I can't blame you. 107.194.22.193 01:32, December 2, 2012 (UTC)

I'm telling you, I DIDN'T tamper with your message. Something bad happens to your message and you automatically assume it's me, and I don't appreciate it. If you truly want to uncover what's happening, I'd recommend you review the talk page's history. -- ImperiexSeed, 10:52 PM, December 1st 2012
The way I see things, the only way this issue can be resolved is if we get Caleb's input on things before the situation gets out of hand. I just sent him a message, and hopefully, we can put this behind us and move on. Savannah Star 05:20, December 2, 2012 (UTC)
I've checked the edit histories, and I think this is just a simple misunderstanding. This is actually a fairly common occurrence on Wikis. One user edits page, but before he actually saves his edits, another user has changed the page. The first user then saves his changes, and the second user's edits are thus overridden. That being said, there is a mechanism in place informing the first user that changes have been made to the version he was editing, and that he should not save his changes lest he overrides the edits of others.
As you can see in this case, Imperiex's edit seemed to have changed the comments of another user, but you'll realise it was merely reverted to an older revision. In other words, to avoid this problem, one should take more care in checking that the page has not been changed before saving his edits. Hope this helps, cheers.
