Edit Edit

I saw your edit, to the Deities page. And I wanted to say, that I didn't just remove what you post. Originally, Eric Kriple the creator of the series left out worship=power from the Novel American Gods, that he got a lot of ideas from. But, in season 7, Sera added on the the majority of gods were stronger when, they had thousands, tens, to even hundreds, maybe even millions of tributes of varying type the most common human tributes. But, even Sam's statement was "You see with the old gods, once upon a time they were just short of invincible. But they got a lot of their mojo from worshippers from feeding them."

Yes, I know that is nip picking with words. But, as he never said believing or the worshipper worshipping. The only canon information is that tributes aka feeding them can increase powers, and lack of them is decreasing of their power. I understand that under certain temrs, that is just another form of worship. But, as the word itself is not used, it kind of jumps the gun. Once, something direct is comfirmed, than it's canon. But, I did leave most of what you posted though.[[User:Twilight Despair 5|]] ([[The God of Creation]]) (talk) 02:54, March 26, 2013 (UTC)

Yes, that is true some of what you said. But. as only tributes and not believing in them is canon. Than it is premature, to state that it's a lack of worship. As tributes are only one form of it, and the only one that has effects on the gods. Even, back in season 3, the Christmas special of Supernatural the people that had those Xmas reefs didn't worship Hold Nickar the Gods of the Winter Solstice. If they say things like the gods are only powerful when they are given tributes, praise, beliefs, etc as a total sum from their worshippers. Than, it's lack of worship, as of now it's only Lack of Tributes affect power. As it's only one concept of worship, not the complete understanding.

You can compare it too, that most Angels only get some power from Heaven, or how the Leviathans are only immune FOR SURE to the powers of angels. Yes the Archangels are far more powerful, but in some times they are under the collective term angel, and sometimes not. It depends on factors. We like this, to remain up. As before we thought the Levaithans were below angels. But, due to their immunity of their powers, they above them. As Leviathans can kill some if not all angels.

Also, I have watched ever episode of Supernatural to date. And this is what Sam said about the Old Gods.

SAM: The thing is, with the Old Gods, once upon a time they were – they were just short of invincible. But they got a lot of their mojo from worshippers, from people feeding them.

And this is theory, not canon facts. He could have been refering to the old gods of greece. As, old gods is a term from Chthulu myths, and in the Greek Pantheron, the gods were given tributes often food for their roles in the world.[[User:Twilight Despair 5|]] ([[The God of Creation]]) (talk) 22:22, March 26, 2013 (UTC)
