I love Dean, I really do, but for the past six episodes, he's been nothing but a hypcritical asshole to Sam. How is he hypocritical? He was the one who settled down with Lisa after Sam went to Hell in 5x22. Sam did the same thing with Amelia. Now, the writers have done nothing but portray Sam as the bad guy ever since Season 4 and I'm so fucking tired of it. People have been saying on Twitter and such that Sam is the bad guy since he abandoned Dean in Purgatory, and I disagree. Sam has lost everyone he cares about (Mary, Jessica, John, Dean (on multiple occasions), Ellen, Jo, Cas, Bobby) and like he said in 8x06, his world "imploded" so he ran.
Now Dean, well, I've been having mixed feelings about him since the season's beginning. I understand that he's upset with Sam for leaving him to die in Purgatory, but tbh, he's been acting completely out of character this season. It's been all about Princess Dean and his precious feelings, and I'm getting tired of it. He and Sam are absolutely terrible at communication, and they've been acting like a bunch of five year olds, to tell you the truth. I'd like to see them sit down and talk things out like adults.
Have I mentioned that their relationship thus far has been completely unrecognizable to me? Don't get me wrong, I get that their at odds right now but frankly, it seems like the writers have completely erased the brother's love for each other and replaced it with hatred.
Now, don't think that I hate the show because I don't. I still love it. This season has just been really testing my patience lately, that's all.
