How are there any humans left?

Since the gates of Hell opened in season 2, the monsters going on a mass turning spree in season six, the Leviathans got out and now with the Legions of Fallen angels out there. It really makes me wonder how its possible that humans aren't in a minority especially with what we saw on that glowing map. What do you think?
