First, you've probably all heard my prediction for how it will end, and there's not much to say on that that I haven't already. In a nutshell: There is no way this has a good ending, and Sam and Dean know it already. They'd have better odds against Sephiroth if he existed in their universe.
Second, even if my prediction is wrong, it's still probably going to take a whole year to finish the season with multiple month hiatuses at multiple points in the season. One in winter, and one in spring. There'll probably be a full summer hiatus about the whole season between the last two episodes.
I'll still keep track of it to update List of Deaths Wiki coz nopony else does, but I'm not going to "wait" for the final episode anymore, because that's just…Read more >
Only one more time will we have to endure this crap, after the next two episodes.
But, as if that wasn't enough they're putting ANOTHER week's hiatus between last episode and next one, again for no reason. They'll probably put two weeks before the final episode.
However it ends, whoever dies, whoever goes to hell, whatever happens to the world, I'll be nothing short of relieved when it ends. Means we won't have to endure these stupid pointless hiatuses anymore.
(Again, I think it'll end dark, Supernatural's a dark show, the writers have a thing for torturing Sam and Dean, they're against overwhelming odds, and they missed the 1 in 14,000,605)Read more >
(Spoilers for anyone not caught up to fifth episode of the season)
I'm gonna be blunt: I have very low hopes that we're going to get a light ending.
Anything else that ended this year wasn't as dark as Supernatural, except Game of Thrones, which had a better ending than it could have (though it still could have been better).
Look how the season's going already. Rowena went to hell doing a Heroic Sacrifice (Vegeta much?), and Kevin can't go to heaven. Heaven's on the verge of collapse due to lack of angels (unless Jack making more angels made a difference?), which will mean Kevin soon won't be the only ghost wandering Earth. Dean drove Castiel away, and Sam and Dean's final opponent is the all-powerful God himself, who not only created evey un…Read more >
He gets all the really significant kills. He killed Cain, Death, Hitler, Lucifer (the devil). And also Azazel, the demon they became hunters to hunt, and Eve, who is the origin of all monsters they hunt. And Dick, leader of the Leviathans. (Yes! They fixed that) And Abaddon, but somehow "last Knight of Hell" seems less impressive than the others, even though she was among the most powerful enemies they faced, but so was Lilith, who Sam killed)
So, why not make God the final big name on that list?Read more >
TODAY?! It's Halloween! The perfect day for an episode of Supernatural, especially a Halloween special!
Of course they'll probably do a month's hiatus or so, but at least this is the last time we'll have to put up with this.Read more >
