These three unnamed witches (likely referred as Charisse, Melodie, and Thomasin) were members of the Grand Coven.
Background[]
Rowena attempted to recruit these three witches as members to her new coven, the Mega Coven, on the grounds that their former coven was falling apart.
To convince them to join, Rowena boasted that she had killed her own son, the King of Hell, by commanding an angel to do it. However, a friend of one of the witches had made a deal with Crowley not long ago, much to Rowena's confusion.
The witches attempted to leave Rowena, driving the witch to use a spell from the Book of the Damned and kill all three.
Later, they are mentioned by Clea when Rowena asked her for help to cast a spell to travel time.
Powers and Abilities[]
- Witchcraft - As Grand Coven members, they had knowledge of spell-work. Clea considered them completely capable to help Rowena to perform the advanced Book of the Damned Time Travel Spell if they had not been torched by the red-head witch during her little fit.
Weaknesses[]
- Sumerian Witch-killing Spell - The powerful witch Rowena MacLeod was able to kill them with this spell from the Book of the Damned.
Appearances[]
- Season 11
- The Bad Seed
- We Happy Few (mentioned only)
Trivia[]
- Their names are referred indirectly when Clea, another Grand Coven member, mentioned that Rowena had torched "Charisse, Melodie, and Thomasin". Since no others witches are shown being reduced to blood and ash by Rowena, it is assumed that Clea was referring to these three witches.[1]
- These three witches appear to be a reference to the Triple Goddess of Paganism, with each witch representing one of three female archetypes: the Maiden, the Mother, and the Crone.
- They appeared to be high-ranking members within the Grand Coven, in opposition to Claudette and Magda, who were grunts.
- Actress Deni DeLory previously portrayed Silvia Pearlman in the Season 2 episode Crossroad Blues.
