Trotter is a resident of Elizabethville, Ohio.
Background[]
Trotter was once an upstanding citizen of his town, and was also the Head of the local Rotary club. However, when he met the bartender Casey, in reality a demon, he was persuaded to introduce gambling and prostitution to the town, thereby encouraging vice among the inhabitants.
Trotter became powerful, so much that he has his own office and henchmen and is considered to be the owner of the town. Trotter is also known to regular visit the local bar.
When Sam and Dean Winchester arrive, they are guided by the hunter Richie to try and talk to Trotter. The brothers instead stalk him, as the three suspect demonic possession. When Sam finally confronts Trotter, he splashes holy water on him, but is left embarrassed when Trotter proves him to be a human, a very angry human. Sam flees his office as a result.
