At an unknown point, this man was possessed by the demon known as Tom.
During the Rescue at Sunrise Apartments, as Tom beat on Sam Winchester, his brother Dean shot Tom through the head with the Colt, killing both him and his vessel.
Dean later expressed uncertainty about his killing of Tom as the exorcism of Meg from her vessel revealed that there was a real person under the demon that he was killing as well.
