Thor is the Norse God of thunder, lightning, storms, hallowing, strength, fertility, oak trees and protection of mankind.
Background[]
Thor's hammer, Mjölnir, somehow ends up at Plutus' auction. The hammer is bought by fellow Norse deity Mr. Vili. However, Sam Winchester takes the hammer and kills two deities with it, the latter being Mr. Vili.
The current whereabouts of Thor currently unknown.

- In many myths, Thor is listed as another son of Odin.
- In Norse myths, Thor actually lost his hammer a couple of times; once during a fishing trip (he threw it too powerfully and it flew beyond the range he could retrieve it) and another when it was stolen by a Jötunn (giant) named Thrym, who said he would only bring it back if the goddess Freyja (the goddess of love, considered the most beautiful goddess) would marry him. However, Thor tricked Thrym by dressing in a wedding dress, pretending to be Fryja. Once Thrym revealed the hammer, the disguised Thor grabbed it and killed Thrym and another Jötunn before fleeing with his hammer.
- Also, contrary to modern notions, in Norse myths Mjölnir can actually be lifed by anyone; the idea that Mjölnir can only be lifted by the worthy is originated in the Marvel Comics. However, the hammer is still extremely heavy, thus can only be lifted by extremely strong beings, such as Thor himself and the giants. Thor is simply the only one who can wield it - throw it correctly, catch it again, summon lightning with it - as this takes skill.
