Trivia
- Its revealed that Charlie created a limitless credit card for the Winchesters to pay for their purchases so that they would no longer have to hustle for money. Since Dean mentions that the card has worked for five years, it was the original Charlie who created it for them.
- Castiel is currently in Heaven seeing if the angels know anything about where God went.
- Garth is revealed to have named two of his three children after Sam and Castiel.
- Garth is revealed to know Castiel.
- Baby Castiel appears to have the same tendency to stare at Dean weirdly that the real Castiel does as noted by the Winchesters.
- Garth reveals to Dean that after retiring from hunting, he went back to school to finish his degree in dentistry and currently has his own practice. He also acts as his pack's dentist since they can't see a regular one.
- Garth suggests that the reason Sam and Dean have never experienced real people issues like cavities or getting sick through their lives is because God protected them from it as the heroes of his story so such issues wouldn't slow the story down. Now that they have fallen out of God's favor, he has "downgraded" them back to normal people.
- The vampire Maul could be a reference to Darth Maul from Star Wars given the fact that the show makes references to the franchise.
- The pictures used for the fight promo for Sam and Dean's fight are their mug shots from Folsom Prison Blues.
- Garth comments that Maul "got Garth'd" after killing him as he did when Garth burned Jenny Greentree's bones in Party On, Garth.
- The werewolf Brad comments on Sam's puppy dog eyes and asks if that actually ever works for him. Back in Season 1, Dean had said that Sam's puppy eyes would always work on anyone and Sam has had a tendency to get people to open up to him whenever he uses it. It becomes clear that Sam's look had always worked due to God's influence but now that they have regressed to normal people, the look doesn't work anymore.
