Revelation spell[]
The revelation spell seems to be a kind of tracking spell. Shouldn't the two entries be merged, then?SonOfEve (talk) 17:46, January 16, 2018 (UTC)
The first version of the revelation spell we see has elements of a tracking spell, but they are not strictly the same spells nor are they of the exact same purpose. If we take into account the second version cast by Max, it had little to no purpose in tracking. I don't think a merge works but we can add trivia/minutiae or a "See Also" heading on both articles about the other for further reading. FTWinchester (talk) 22:30, January 16, 2018 (UTC)
I would oppose a merge but am in favor of the see also link. --ThomasNealy (talk) 00:39, January 17, 2018 (UTC)
I oppose also. Its speculative at the very least which is not permitted.--WarGrowlmon18 (talk) 04:48, January 17, 2018 (UTC)
I oppose, but could have been a section in this page linking with the revelation spell page like all other spells in this page instead of just a put it on the See Also section Doctor49 (talk) 12:29, January 17, 2018 (UTC)
After having re-watched the episode yesterday, I'm convinced it should be included as a tracking spell. Both versions performed, Tasha's and Max's, served the same purpose, that of tracking the source of evil magic they were after. FTWinchester says that Max's version "had little to no purpose in tracking", but this is wrong - when Max used it on the fake Tasha, she revealed to him the location of the Borrower Witch ("the room, end of the hall. Top of the stairs"), which is precisely what tracking are supposed to do.SonOfEve (talk) 01:39, March 12, 2018 (UTC)
