Tree of Life? Edit
- Looks like it could be, but the writers could make it to be anything. And, if they follow Biblical lore, there would be a Cherubim there wielding a flaming sword. -- ImperiexSeed, 12:28 PM, May 20th 2013
- Cherubim are also the spirtual beings that usually associated with the presence of God. Twelver (talk) 17:01, May 20, 2013 (UTC)
- They are said to protect his holiness and glory. But don't get confused, they are their own being. -- ImperiexSeed, 1:04 PM, May 20th 2013
- No one realised that the tree is actually Castiel. He decided being human wasn't great and just, well, became a tree... (I'm sorry *facepalm*) Hennessey Frost 21:40, May 26, 2013 (UTC)
Hey, I just had an idea. Shouldn't we have a countdown clock on the Season 9 page, counting down the days until the premiere episode. What do you guys think?RaghavD Taking the ROAD less travelled 16:37, June 21, 2013 (UTC)
Does anyone know whether or not this will be the final season of supernatural? I believe I remember hearing a while back that the writers planned to have everything finished up within 10 seasons, but I can't supply reference to that. I had someone tell me that they planned this to be the last season but I don't know how good their information was so I thought I'd ask here. 126.96.36.199 23:27, July 20, 2013 (UTC)
As far as I know, there is supossed to be a tenth and final season, so this is hopefully second to last (lets face it, its only just got back on its feet, anything pushing ten years is probably going to be nothing). Of course it all rests on how the season does, if it doesn't go so well then it probably will be the final season, still if they keep up the trend of season 8 I think it should make it. General MGD 109 (talk) 00:15, July 21, 2013 (UTC)
Well, I have nothing to add to what the General said as that is all I know as well. If what that person told you is true, than perhaps they are only being percautious by planning S9 to be the last, so that Supernatural does not end on a cliffhanger or with major loose ends left untied if the series is ultimately not renewed for a S10. 188.8.131.52 01:30, July 21, 2013 (UTC)
Jensen and Jared both agreed to do Supernatural up to season 10, should the show be renewed. Carver was planning on a story arc that could drive the show well into season 10 (or 'for years to come'). One of the vice presidents of CW also wished the show to continue until season 10. Of course, that all depends on how the show performs and rates.
Unfortunately I could no longer find the source about that CW exec wanting the show to continue to season 10, but I've sourced those of the actors and the showrunner. FTWinchester (talk) 13:09, July 21, 2013 (UTC)
No talk about the spin-off? Also, would we be including information from the spin-off series, should it move from the development into actual production and airing? FTWinchester (talk) 01:20, July 31, 2013 (UTC)
I was aware of that actually, but forgot to mention it. Also I was wondering where should we be adding it? We can add info once it starts airing or even from when it is announced. Like The Vampire Diaries and Grey's Anatomy Wikis, we can include the spin-off's info as it is of the same Universe. RaghavD Born Sinner, the opposite of a Winner 04:37, July 31, 2013 (UTC)
Let's just be mindful that the spin-off is only a backdoor pilot at this time and that whether it will become a series could largely depend on how well the ratings are after the pilot airs. 184.108.40.206 12:35, July 31, 2013 (UTC)
I understand that anon, but as it has been officially announced as a spin-off, that would imply its canon borrows from the Supernatural universe, and vice versa. Which would mean we could cover it. @RaghavD, yeah, that was what I was thinking. Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Angel: the Series operate on the same wikia, so I think we could do the same instead of having a new wikia dedicated to it. FTWinchester (talk) 12:39, July 31, 2013 (UTC)
Someone might start a wikia when the official announcement is made. We might have to be quick to beat them to it and include the same on our wiki. RaghavD Born Sinner, the opposite of a Winner 13:30, July 31, 2013 (UTC)
I find that a bit unlikely, but even if a separate wikia springs up, it would be harder for them, because we already have an established database. Another show with a spin-off that operates on the same wikia is Avatar: The Last Airbender (or The Legend of Aang), and The Legend of Korra. We now have two precedents for wikias containing a main show and a canon spin-off show. Even if a wikia dedicated to the spin-off show is created, we still win. FTWinchester (talk) 15:02, July 31, 2013 (UTC)
Agreed, the spin-off's canonicity to Supernatural is unquestionable, but that is not my point, FTWinchester. What I mean is we should only limit to a page for the backdoor pilot and anything related (e.g. characters, locations, and objects) at this time, as it would be premature to create one for the series until The CW has proceeded with it. In addition, Raghav also has a point, someone could indeed create a wikia for the spin-off, just like what occurred with The Originals Wiki ( which seems to be functioning well on it's own seperate from The Vampire Diaries Wiki, despite the spin-off having not aired yet), however I feel including it on our wiki in order to beat them to it is futile as one may likely be created still anyway. 220.127.116.11 21:14, July 31, 2013 (UTC)
I was never planning on creating one immediately like right now. In my original post I was only asking if we would do so, once the show begins to air. Exact words--"should it move from the development into actual production and airing?" Even a certain page on it right now would be ridiculous even for me, because we know nothing about it. FTWinchester (talk) 01:36, August 1, 2013 (UTC)
Frankly, both could work, but it's probably wiser to continue documenting all the information on this Wiki given that both series share the same canon universe and there's bound to be continuity between the two series. So yes, it'd work the same way the Avatar Wiki is functioning right now. Calebchiam Talk 03:27, August 5, 2013 (UTC)
I just hope that before the end of the show they will return Adam. This is just awful! The guy had never thought about hunting, but in the end the past five years locked up in a cage with angry Lucifer and Michael. And the two hunter about it not even remember a single time. I understand that they were not so close, but they can also show a little compassion.. O God, give me strength... Т__т ----- Мидейла 1:05, August 22, 2013 (UTC)
I don't think its they fogotten him, its just there's nothing they can do about. The one time Dean got a chance to get him out, he asked for it, but Death refused to bust both of them out and made Dean chose one. We can't really blame Dean for picking Sam. Next to death, no one can really break a person out of Lucifers cage, Castiel might be able to get his body out, but not his soul and that would proabably be worse, as Adam would still suffer, plus his body would probably inflict suffering on others. Plus since it happened Castiels sort of been to busy to break into hell and try and grab a single body from the bottom of the pit. There are no other beings who they can go to, nowway to get him out without releasing Lucifer and Michael. I'm sure the Winchesters mourn Adam, just as the mourn all the others they've lost and failed. They just can't do anything about it. The reason they don't talk about it, is because the only way they can carry on, is by burrying all that they've done and all they've lost down as far as they can, or else it would drive them insane. Still I hope he gets freed, he is still a Winchester and nothing is more important to a Winchester than family. General MGD 109 (talk) 21:58, August 21, 2013 (UTC)
A little help maybe Edit
-It has been said that Gabriel is not dead. Then where is he? He hasn't appeared since Hammer of the Gods. Especially, after the events of Holy Terror, he must come to the aid of the Winchesters.
-Castiel has taken a grace. He must get to Gadreel before Metatron, retrieve the tablets, imprison Gadreel in the storage room and return asap to Kevin in order to ressurect him.
-Decipher the whole angel tablet(maybe Gabriel can help) and find a way to set things right.
-Gabriel must smite Abaddon onscreen and ressurect some good angels and people like Muriel and Bobby.
-Metatron must die.
-Adam must be set free somehow.
-Gabriel must reorganize the angels and lead an all-out massacre versus demons, monsters and all other evil supernatural beings or Michael must kill Lucifer ONSCREEN. All good people will go to Heaven which is real as Earth is also. They are both realms. So everyone will be happy.( I admit this last one seems a little odd, but it's like a possible utopia)Epakrios (talk) 04:49, December 4, 2013 (UTC)
Suggested concept Edit
I think that it will be nice for season 9 if the greek crisis is added to the main story arc somehow. Like the Leviathan case, demons could have possesed long ago politicians, bankers, etc(Greek or not) and they will be the cause of the crisis. If it's not possible for season 9, then the suggestion goes for season 10. I hope that the producers and writers of the show will see that.Epakrios (talk) 10:50, December 13, 2013 (UTC)
Where's the Colt? Could they not use that on Abbadon.
