Lore[]
Does the class of Rit Zien have any resemblance to anything in the lore?Epakrios (talk) 01:53, November 24, 2013 (UTC)EpakriosEpakrios (talk) 01:53, November 24, 2013 (UTC)
Not that I'm aware of. Which is why we had to rely on the closed captions of that episode. I think this one is an original idea/term from the writers of the show. FTWinchester (talk) 13:58, November 24, 2013 (UTC)
So the Rit Zien are in fact the angelic order of Virtues, but the correct term is Powers.
Yes they do, as mentioned in the article, they have a similar function to the Virtues, the second order of the second of three spheres.
How that lore affects the in show lore I don't know, since the cherubs, who in lore are part of the highest sphere, and in the show, they are the lowest order seen, where as in lore that distinction is of the class named simply 'angels'
The virtues, or sometimes the 7 virtues acted as healers and granters of wishes are bringers of miracles, but in more popular texts they are charged with keeping the natural order of the universe in check. Also called strongholds, it is not really revealed if there are 7 or if there are 7 sun branches within the class, but they are often equated with the 7 deadly sins, who before the fall where virtues.
This is a shame, as I hoped that the surviving sins would return, or new sins would be crafted in hell to fight their heavenly counterparts. In the show, they seem to be medics with a much more powerful smiting than usual angels, even more so possibly than a seraph, as even castiel, who at one time was a seraph, showed terror when looking at it's effects, so in show, like the intel division, the Rit Zien could be either regular angels with special abilitites, or higher/lower than seraphs, as it's not really known if in the show there are only cherubs, angels, seraphs and archangels, naomi's rank could be Ophan, Rit zien could be Virtues, and also the others such as principalities could exist, as well as powers and dominions.

Pink confusion[]
It's stated in te episode that the pink matter was everytghing of the victim togeather, but if this is so, then why did The Rit Zien's hand cause a pink glow before he smited???
Princepurple (talk) 00:17, February 1, 2014 (UTC)
Well as it only ended up that way because of a very furer smiting, I'm guessing however it worked it pretty much caused everything to be turned pink. I mean it reduced a human body, to a sort of foam. General MGD 109 (talk) 00:21, February 1, 2014 (UTC)
Princepurple meant to ask why the Rit Zirn's hands glowed pink before any of its targets began to be liquefied into that pink substance. It's probably just artistic choice on the part of the cg team. FTWinchester (talk) 00:26, February 1, 2014 (UTC)
Oh, in that case your probably right. Probably to link the after affects, to those who didn't grasp what the pink gundge was meant to be. General MGD 109 (talk) 00:37, February 1, 2014 (UTC)
A correlation by the writers or humorous fortuity. -- ImperiexSeed, 1:36 PM, February 1st 2014
