What we saw was not Michael's true form

Think about it: Castiel's true form is the size of the Chrysler building, a sky scraper measuring 282 meters in height. If the angels could see his true form even in a vessel, they wouldn't have had any problem finding him the many times he was hiding - they'd just need to look for the sky scraper of light moving about the Earth's surface.

  • When they were trapped in Dean's mind??? Might've been a figure of speech or just referred to the fact that Michael was so powerful in general that he could kill them all. However, while we can speculate what power he might've meant, that's all it is: speculation.
