Immunity

It feels like we're lumping two different (though somewhat similar) powers under one name. One power could be defined as imperviousness/resistance to physical injury that might seriously harm or even kill a mortal being. The second could be defined as a creature's immunity to supernatural attack or weapons. They're not interchangeable, and some beings have one but not the other--and some have only shades of the powers, at that. For example, Sam is immune to other special children's powers, White Light, and other forms of demonic attack in certain situations, but he is not completely immune to demonic powers, not at all immune to attacks by other supernatural beings or forces, and not at all invulnerable to mortal damage or death. An arachne is invulnerable to bullets and fire, but not to decapitation. Demons are invulnerable to falling out a building and being stabbed, but most of them are not immune to holy water, salt, iron, exorcisms, or devil's traps, which all humans are immune to. Lucifer is immune to the Colt and Kali's fire, but he is not immune to Gabriel's telekinesis. Perhaps we could create a separate page for Immunity and list a character as having it if he shows resistance or imperviousness to supernatural powers, objects, forces, etc., and edit Invulnerability so that it is purely a show of resistance or imperviousness to physical pain, damage, injuries, mortality, etc., etc. Your thoughts, my dear fellows?NaiflidG (talk) 23:01, November 6, 2013 (UTC)

Good point, your right there should be a seperate page for supernatural immunties. I agree you should probably make it. I can't help now, but I'll try tomorrow if you like. General MGD 109 (talk) 23:18, November 6, 2013 (UTC)

Thanks, General, I'd appreciate that. I'm still working on the Knight of Hell, but I'll probably wrap that up by tomorrow and we can get started on this page next.--NaiflidG (talk) 23:49, November 6, 2013 (UTC)

I'm ready to start, just let me know when you want me. General MGD 109 (talk) 19:40, November 7, 2013 (UTC)

Wicked Witch?

Seeing as she could only be killed by the ruby slippers, shouldn't the wicked witch be up on the Leviathan and Archangel list seeing as it's for beings who can only be killed by one basic method. Also so can eve and the whore.

Ghosts

Any Ideas where Ghosts would fit on this list ? As they are basically human souls, they can't be destroyed be anything below God/Oberon/Darkness Level, however one could say the same for the human souls in Heaven.Lambda1 (talk) 02:03, September 23, 2015 (UTC)

Well, I think it was answered on the Q&A blog that the Colt, the First Blade and Death's scythe can actually kill ghosts, somehow. I'd say they fit under the medium invulnerability section. -- ImperiexSeed, 7:00 PM, September 23rd 2015
It think so as well, however there was not much Dick Leviathan was able to do against Bobbys ghost, while he could have, as you said, "an archangel barbecue". Lambda1 (talk) 23:41, September 23, 2015 (UTC)
Well, first of all, he couldn't see Bobby, and was actually starting to enjoy it. But he did want to fight Bobby, and if he could see him, he would've easily overpowered him. -- ImperiexSeed, 7:44 PM, September 23rd 2015
I don't doubt that Dick is physically stronger, but Dick could not destroy him without the conventional hunter methods.Lambda1 (talk) 23:49, September 23, 2015 (UTC)
I know.... I don't know what you're getting at. Anyway, like I said, I think ghosts would fit under the medium invulnerability section; I mean, pretty much everything is useless against them (knives, guns, bombs, lasers, beams, and no hunter has every overpowered one), with them not being physical. In that way, they're extremely powerful. -- ImperiexSeed, 7:53 PM, September 23rd 2015
I don't want to implicate something with this, I agree so far, will add them in the medium section.Lambda1 (talk) 00:04, September 24, 2015 (UTC)

Shtriga classification

To quote Sam, Shtrigas are invulnerable to all weapons devised by God and Man. They're only vulnerable when feeding, and then only to consecrated iron. They are probably the being with the smallest number of vulnerabilities listed here, so why are they at the lowest tier of invulnerability?

It's an obvious error, so you can fix it whenever you want. Zane T 69 (talk) 21:17, November 7, 2017 (UTC)

Should shtrigas be classified as advanced invulnerability?  I don't think we've seen enough of them to classify them as such - we don't know if they are immune to angel blades, the Colt, or any other weapon.  We don't even know how they compare to other species.  Dtol (talk) 15:23, December 9, 2017 (UTC)

  • As far as we know, they are invulnerable. Remember they can't be killed by any weapon created by God or man. Frankly we just don't know and should leave it be.--WarGrowlmon18 (talk) 17:25, December 9, 2017 (UTC)

Jack’s Invulnerability

Yes would Jack invulnerability be in the Advanced category like his father.

First sign the post. And I would agree that it is the same if not more so. After all as far as we know right now Jack can't have his grace taken. --ThomasNealy (talk) 04:57, March 1, 2018 (UTC)
