how do we know gabriel's on the heaven council if he hasn't been mentioned or seen on the show and how do we know Zachariah's an Archangel if that hasn't been proven peronally i don't think Zachariah is an Archangel i think he's a seraphim Smallville944 03:58, September 4, 2009 (UTC)Smallville944

Hi[]

That situation is all taken care of.(Talk:SupernaturalFan)

Archangels[]

Archangels are actualy the highest ranking angels and the seaph or second archangels are the most powerful but you have the seraph as the highest

Highest Angels[]

Seraphim are the highest category of angels. They stay by God's side at all times. Look up Metatron. So Zach isn't a Seraph.

current leader of angels[]

you have michael as the current leader and than jesus as the king of all angels including michael so wouldn't that mean he is the current leader not michaelSmallville944 23:57, November 17, 2009 (UTC)Smallville944

If Jesus ends up being in the show, then he would be God, and not one of the angels.67.175.13.87 07:55, November 19, 2009 (UTC)

Angels[]

Zachariah is no Archangel. I mean sure he can alter reality but then again , that might be common to the higher Angel ranks. I believe he is simply an Angel that's stronger than Castiel. Gabriel might probably be on the Heaven Council. After all, he foretold the birth of Jesus.

Question[]

How can Heaven be a physical place? Yes Anna fell to Earth and in a physical form of a coment but if Heaven was a location in the physical universe than humans alive could travel to it. The series uses the old Catholic belief that Heaven is above Earth is the the middle and Hell is below. The gates, portals, etc like the Devil's gate can be physical to the specific realm. Like how purgatory has several doors. Like the one that the Dragons open and the one that Castiel and Bobby opened.: The Twilight of Your Despair 23:29, February 24, 2012 (UTC)

But Heaven's a spiritual realm. Furthermore, it's likely that Heaven has some kind of barrier, preventing convenient access from outsiders. -- ImperiexSeed, 8:48 PM, February 24th 2012

Exactly a spiritual/ethereal realm cannot be physical accessed except by magic like teleportation, or have a magical door like the devils doors which is a physical but opens a door to Hell. So it cannot be a location in the physical world as a spiritual/ethereal realm is not made of matter its made of supernatural substances that. I am not saying its a separate universe but its has its own realm like Hell, Purgatory, and maybe the Fairy Realm.: The Twilight of Your Despair 02:02, February 25, 2012 (UTC)

What's your point, then? I know it's a spiritual realm. If you're saying to remove the Locations category, that's not going to happen. ImperiexSeed, 9:06 PM, February 24th 2012
Heaven is implied to be an actual physical realm in the same universe as earth. Anna states that when she fell, she did so literally--as in crash-landing from outer-space at a speed of about 10,000 miles per hour. Imagery from the sky-scape of Dean's Heaven shows a solar eclipse, placing Heaven behind the moon (a possible reason for the episode title). Also, the fact that the devil's gate covers a hole in the ground places Hell in the same physical plane as earth as well, providing symmetry to the whole idea.
That should be rewritten or removed.: The Twilight of Your Despair 02:11, February 25, 2012 (UTC)               Timelord7500 (talk) 01:05, May 17, 2016 (UTC)What happens to fairies when they die? Do they have souls? Do they go to heaven?

Heaven's Condition[]

I just want to make sure I remember this. So God is on break, most of the heavenly host is dead, in hiding, or scattered to parts unknown, the bottom of the barrel in terms of angels are now barely running a loose-knit command of heaven, half the archangels are dead while the other are in an underworld sealing zone, and the entire foundation of Heaven is pretty much beat to shit. Is that right or am I missing something? I want to know something, Where is the Metatron? He's like the Voice of God, can't he get his lazy ass up and do something besides be God's talking dummy and writer of secrets?Consus, the Erudite God (talk) 03:53, November 8, 2012 (UTC)

God and Metatron may be planning something (I have a theory on it on my blog here). Anyway, we don't know. But what you said is true. That's probably why Crowley is now *spoiler!* able to torture angels like Samandriel. FTWinchester (talk) 13:15, November 8, 2012 (UTC)

So part of their plan is having their loyal allies and servants slaughtered like cattle and their home turned into a wasteland of death and chaos for all angels. I am sorry, but even for a grand plan in the end, that is just dickish (God or the Metatron). I am talking 100% Machiavellian asshole-made. I heard an old saying, you can't make an omelette without breaking a few eggs, well what's the point if the omelette sucks or if you run out of eggs to make the omelette with?Consus, the Erudite God (talk) 19:48, November 8, 2012 (UTC)

I'm not saying it's a perfect plan, but given God's reservation in direct help in averting the apocalypse, the theory doesn't seem that off-tangent, to me. FTWinchester (talk) 20:31, November 8, 2012 (UTC)

This isn't the Apocalypse, that was a different series of events he knew he wouldn't need to put himself into directly. However, this is the destruction of Heaven itself caused by its own angels that's happening. Angels are killing each other. Again.Consus, the Erudite God (talk) 21:24, November 8, 2012 (UTC)

Heaven close to souls?[]

The serie says Heaven is now closed to the souls that must go to there after die, like Kevin. But, when Charlie died in the third episode of season 9, she was in Heaven. How can that be if Heaven is closed now? Rakoon1 (talk) 16:33, April 18, 2014 (UTC)

Writers forgot about that/ PIS.  JS0662 (talk) 23:27, September 24, 2017 (UTC)

Heaven is now closed to souls. Heaven was temporarily closed before Metatron's defeat. Metatron had stopped souls. Kevin was kept on Earth until God released him from the veil. Heaven was closed down because of the near extinction of the angels. (Chayne Doss (talk) 18:13, April 24, 2018 (UTC))

Leader of Heaven[]

I'm a little confused about the state of Heaven's leader now. In Bring 'em Back Alive, Lucifer was still running Heaven. But in Funeralia, it seems that Naomi is now running Heaven, and Lucifer wasn't even mentioned by name. Also, in War of the Worlds, it was as if Duma was running Heaven as she made the decision to allow Lucifer in. And furthermore, in Somewhere Between Heaven and Hell and The Future it is hinted at that Joshua was running Heaven. Can someone please clear this up for me, if there is an explanation? (Chayne Doss (talk) 18:13, April 24, 2018 (UTC))
