I would rather say that the spell is actually a targeted spell that can target specific angels or all of them. Lucifer was likely cast out by the spell and more powerful beings don't need ingredients to do a certain task. Lucifer being one of the strongest archangels and far beyond Gabriel was hardly injured and was merely locked out. Given that Metatron wanted all angels expelled besides himself, that may be how the spell actually works. If Metatron wanted all angels period to be expelled, he could have accidentally expelled himself as well. That should technically be the case.
Wings[]
This page states that every angel lost their wings due to this spell, including the ones on Earth. Is that right? I'm pretty certain this spell only took the wings of angels already in Heaven. The reasons I think this are because (1) Lucifer, who was in the Cage, can still time travel. (2) We did not see angels on Earth have their wings ripped off, only the angels who were cast out. (3) The spell locked up Heaven, preventing the reapers from entering, and not because they didn't have wings. Any arguments?Kajune (talk) 08:39, May 24, 2016 (UTC)
- I completely agree, we only saw the wings burned off of expelled angels and the spell was to expel angels from Heaven, it shouldn't have affected angels already on Earth.
- I concur with this. As far as I know only the angels that fell from Heaven lost their wings. The archangels kept their wings and were already on earth on in the cage, and Metatron kept his wings because he was exempt from the spell's effects. I can think of one class of angels that was NOT in Heaven and still lost their wings: Cupid. They stay on Earth to make sure people meet and fall in love, as is their job, but they've lost their wings as well.

Its all speculative however and you can't put speculation on the page. There were regular angels on Earth at the time of the Fall no doubt and they all lost their wings too. Not every angel was in Heaven.--WarGrowlmon18 (talk) 20:59, May 11, 2018 (UTC)
