How do they know

How exactly do dragons know that there vicims are Virgin or not? I mean its not like they can quickly test and then carry them off or discard them if not, so how do they know? Is a natural abbilty, they can sense it, or is it down to enhanced senses? or a third thing? Any ideas? General MGD 109 (talk) 20:55, April 28, 2013 (UTC)

Maybe they can smell it somehow; I don't know. Supernatural doesn't exactly stick to science. Although even in real life, there are ways of determining certain intimate details about people by looking at the physical cues that they give, so it could also be something as simple as that. Were are they???

Has it ever been stated what happend too the Dragons? after there initial appearence they did not appear again, I was expecting them to be eves bodyguards or something, or at least apperar to avenge her death, I imagine they would fare very well against demons, Has anything been suggested that the may return???

No, nothing I've heard off, appart from a mention of dragon tears in "As Time Goes By" Dragons by this point where stated to be thought to be extinct, no one had seen any for seven hundred years, they only reapered because eve was rising, presumably with there mothers death, they've simply gone back into hiding, as there is to few of them (we only see three in the episode, and one is killed,) the fact that no more arrive at there mothers return, suggests there aren't any or atleast many more. Granted as the strongest monster of them all I thought they would return, I guess the writers thought having three hunters and a depowered angel taking on, Eve, Jefferson starships (the second strongest monster) and dragons, would be to much of a strech. Canon doesn't exactly say. There's at least one left. It would be excessively unwise for a Dragon to reappear. Think about it. There's not a whole lot of them remaining, and the boys are under the wing of Castiel, a Seraph. Remember, there's Crowley - Crowley, the current King of Hell, could either incinerate them singlehandely, or just deploy a "hive" of demons to eviscerate them. I can understand castiel as something the dragons would fear, though, castiel is not present in lots of instances were the brothers could be killed, hes probably figured that god would just bring them back anyway, But i'm not sure Crowley is that tough, I don't remember him openly facing any of the alphas unless they were already somehow unable to move, he could not hurt seem to harm the alpha vampire, and decapitated the shapeshifter alpha after he was chained up, plus I doubt he would stand next to the alpha vampire at least, who stood up to a leviathan, not very well, but he dared to, yet it's implied that both Leviathans could kill demons and that crowley feared them, and there seems a huge gap in power between crowley and castiel, crowley never overpowering castiel or even trying, runing instead.

But Dragons seem to be be top tier Monsters anyway, there is nothing to back up crowleys ability to incinerate them, especially in true form, only a dragon sword can kill a dragon, like burning bones, the colt and knife could kill crowley, so i highly doubt crowley, king of hell or not, who is just a glorified crossroads demon, could actually pose a big threat to a dragon, but cas probably could.

A sort of agree with you, but don't forget, even though he's the weakest higher demon, Crowley is still a higher demon, and demons and mosters are on different levels of power. Regardless Crowley have millions of demons at his beck and call, and as far as we know there is only two dragons left alive, and do you really think Crowley would be unable to track down a dragon killing sword? The man seems to be able to get what ever he wants, he did before he became king of Hell. So in the end it still makes sence for the dragons to go back into hiding, there probably in some cave, somewhere in eastern europe roasting virgins or somthing. Their Blood's Color
