Special Oz?[]
How is Oz a 'special' part of avalon? has this been mentioned on screen? sure a special key was required to get to that specific area of Avalon, but it could be that once in Avalon via other means, one could travel there, special might be so if it was stated it is cut off from the rest of Avalon or has some independence from it in some way, but as far as we know, it is just a reigon like the hollow forest is. Lucifer's cage could be considered a 'special' part of hell since it's unreachable from standard hell and requires extra special means to get inside.

Dorothy mentioned that aside from the key, the only way to enter Oz is through some atmospheric vortex like a tornado or a whirlpool. If this is true, then simply walking to Oz from other parts of the fairy world may not be possible. FTWinchester (talk) 13:59, February 1, 2014 (UTC)
I personally got the impression that she meant the only way to get to Oz via earth-Avalon access.
