Announcement: Admins logging off, unless in the chat or Discord and seeing another active admin there, will disable editing for unregistered users/IPs/A Fandom User via the wiki features function in case there isn't another active admin to defend the wiki. Active admins will, unless they're logging off soon, re-enable the feature to take on their "shift" for want of a better term. Naturally these admins need to re-secure the wiki before logging off.
More to come.Edit
Okay, the page doesn't actually need work, everyone feel free to report issues on it. Admins, please feel free to advertise this at the top of your talkpages or userpages or both. If you want.Zane T 69 (talk) 22:26, July 10, 2016 (UTC)
If i have a difference of opinion with another editor and we both happen to be partially correct in our editing decisions, will we both be warned/blocked if we revert each other's edits more than 3 times? Just curious. Forgive me if this is already been addressed in the guidlines . Reka12452 (talk) 22:39, December 2, 2016 (UTC)
- It's just general question for now, but i have created pages that had portions removed or altered by another editor, where said portions were not incorrect and were (i felt) pertinent, but the other editor's opinion was that it should be changed or removed. I rarely revert in such a case without asking for rationale first because edit wars aren't my thing, but that's just me. i'm just wondering.Reka12452 (talk) 23:40, December 2, 2016 (UTC)
- If they're removing valid and pertinent information, inform me. In regards to opposing opinions; you need to simple debate or talk it out with them. Zane T 69 (talk) 23:48, December 2, 2016 (UTC)
Since the category "Speedy Deletion Candidates" has been removed, i’m guessing this the next best way request deletion of images. Please delete
- Deleted. Please provide links next time though. The category exists, it's just empty and requires manual typing. You can find it here. Zane T 69 (talk) 21:19, May 7, 2017 (UTC)
Info Boxs need to be wider.Edit
I have noticed that on multiple info box templates that they are not wide enough and shift one or more letter down aline. I will admit that it could be on my side but I have a rather big and wide monitor so I don't think the issue is on my end. Examples are the Organization template, Creatures template, and the Items template. I am not sure how to fix that or if I did know how if I am able to. ThomasNealy (talk) 01:05, December 12, 2017 (UTC)
Can someone add these languages to the other language portion of the home page or how ever it is done. I believe this is the current list.
[[es:Portada]] [[fr:Accueil]] [[ja:スーパーナチュラル_Wiki]] [[pt-br:Página_principal]] [[pt:Página_principal]] [[it:Supernatural_Wiki]] [[pl:Strona_główna]] [[he:על_טבעי_Wiki]]
I don't know I copied the list from the dutch page. It seemed to work on theirs. I was hoping that if we had it here some of the unregistered users would stop trying to write in spanish and other languages. http://de.supernatural.wikia.com/wiki/Supernatural_Wiki I just copied the source code from their home page. Maybe Caleb will know what to do? --ThomasNealy (talk) 22:01, December 15, 2017 (UTC)
Here is Caleb's reply from my wall:
- Regarding the inter-language links, I don't think there was any error in your markup. Based on this bug report that's still listed as open, I suspect the redline comes up because the Wikis you are linking to are still new and hence their pages haven't been cached such that the link is automatically recognised as valid. In other words, give it a month or so and it should fix itself, hopefully. Best of luck on your RfB - I'll close it two weeks from the opening date as usual. http://supernatural.wikia.com/wiki/Exorcism?diff=prev&oldid=264235 Not sure if you saw it yet or not. I may agree with what he put on there but really the wrong place for it. --ThomasNealy (talk) 17:40, December 20, 2017 (UTC)
Permission for a new templateEdit
I would like permission to add a new template. It is in my sandbox right nowUser:ThomasNealy/sandbox. It would replace the div box that is on the episode pages now. I'm not sure if I needed permission or not but thought I would ask first. Feel free to adjust it or whatever as well.--ThomasNealy (talk) 07:36, December 23, 2017 (UTC)
I think it's a good template. I don't know the quote specifically, but shouldn't it be 'There was something about being there that felt pure.'?
Also, the second sentence has inconsistent capital letters: 'This episode summary is an official CW press release. It may contain errors. DO NOT CHANGE!' would be better. I don't mean to be mean or harsh or anything, but that feels better. Thanks for asking! Dtol (talk) 17:31, December 23, 2017 (UTC)
I approve of the idea, but suggest you take Dtol's advice. We Admins generally prefer to pre-approve templates, infoboxes, and the like due to clutter and duplicates in that section. Zane T 69 (talk) 17:56, December 23, 2017 (UTC)
Thanks Dtol. I'll make the changes. I looked up the script to be sure it 08.01. The quote was like that where I found it. It was Dean talking to Sam about Purgatory. How is it now? Also any suggestions on what to call it lol. I was thinking Summerywarning but maybe there is something better.
bt way here is the script.
It was bloody. Messy. 31 flavors of bottom-dwelling nasties. Hell, most days felt like 360-degree combat. But there was something about being there.
FLASHBACK – PURGATORY
DEAN is standing, holding the VAMPIRE’s weapon.
It felt pure.
Can one of the Admins lock the template Template:Summarywarning
Is it a Wika error?Edit
I seem to be having an issue where a new edit is not rendering on the site until the next edit pushes it through. It is just me or is this a wikia thing. I checked my browser and stuff and can't find anything wrong on my end. --ThomasNealy (talk) 07:11, December 27, 2017 (UTC)
I can see the changes on any edit mode or preview but not on the actual page until a new edit happens. it is not every page either. Episode pages, talk pages, and character pages are what are causing the issue. It is really strange. --ThomasNealy (talk) 15:52, December 27, 2017 (UTC)
I think these are the same peopleEdit
User talk:Steven Britton and User talk:Sjb6759 Steven responded to a talk page as Sjb6759 using the Steven account. given the issue with Sjb6759 and the edit war and talk page issue. I think he made a new account so he could edit the Cass page without getting into trouble. --ThomasNealy (talk) 02:51, December 28, 2017 (UTC)
I just find it all very suspicious that Sj gets warned to to break the 3R rule then a new account pops up reverts the page again and responds to a talk message as his second edit with the same message Sj would leave later after Steve deleted the his. I thought he admins could see the Ip's that's why I brought it up. It's probably not worth the effort to ask wiki for it. --ThomasNealy (talk) 03:14, December 28, 2017 (UTC)
As did I. When a user is blocked, which Sjb was, they cannot edit from other accounts or IPs. At least that's how I understood it. Anyway, if Steven Britton edits, then he's probably innocent. Zane T 69 (talk) 15:10, December 28, 2017 (UTC)
You can add this user to the list too. User:Joseph3519 All three are same user SjB -Steven Joseph Britton . No one makes an account and has the first edit be responding to a talk page on consensus and say the same thing and last two account. He's gaming the system with new accounts from different Ip's He could at least be less obvious about it. once is happenstance twice is coincidence three times is pattern.--ThomasNealy (talk) 15:22, December 28, 2017 (UTC)
it shares a name and edit history with the other 6 that are already blocked. I will wait and see, he messed up rather fast the other 6 times, so I wont have long to wait if im right. --ThomasNealy (talk) 05:46, January 1, 2018 (UTC)
The ones you mentioned, the blocked ones, all signed their posts? Yes? Spnfan079 hasn't, which implies inexperience. Could be an elaborate con, but I'm guessing wrong place at the wrong time. Zane T 69 (talk) 05:52, January 1, 2018 (UTC)
I know what you mean, but maybe take a breath or find a way to relax some. I'm resigned to the continued existence of idiocy and ready to combat it. I'll try getting a check-user ability for myself, again. Maybe I can identify the sock-puppets sooner with that. Zane T 69 (talk) 06:03, January 1, 2018 (UTC)
I'm still taking a break but I saw this in my email. so checked up. take a look at this as well. Seems I was right. that is a sock account too. any way I'll check back tomorrow unless I see a notice I need to look at.--ThomasNealy (talk) 00:13, January 3, 2018 (UTC)
I reported him after he gave me a year long block on his wiki for an admittedly accurate and gentle warning, but I might have action taken against me by wikia, I kinda doubt it though. Zane T 69 (talk) 17:38, January 3, 2018 (UTC)

Fandom user Edit
People we have what appears to be a massive attack against this Wiki. I've locked unregistered users and blocked the registered ones that keep attacking but more seem to be cropping up every time.--WarGrowlmon18 (talk) 05:41, February 7, 2018 (UTC)
We need a neutral admin to close these topics and provide a decision. I think these are all the ones in need of it.
--ThomasNealy (talk) 17:21, February 8, 2018 (UTC)
please block Special:Contributions/Zophan for chronic vandalism. I should also say that this user has been blocked on two other communities for the same thing. one of which was community central chat. I have petitioned Fandom for a global block given her track record. --ThomasNealy (talk) 04:40, March 1, 2018 (UTC)
Yeah Fandom acted a lot faster then they normally do. I asked here as a stop gap to keep her from vandalising more pages. She must have been even more of a problem then I thought. Thanks --ThomasNealy (talk) 19:16, March 1, 2018 (UTC)
Blog: Recent PostsEdit
- That is beyond my purview I believe, you'll need to use Special:Contact to get Wikia to help. Zane T 69 (talk) 13:26, March 23, 2018 (UTC)
Hello. Just wanted to stop by and say keep up the good work. Love Supernatural and alawys come to this wiki to get help on things I did not understand or want more info about. Currently on Season 8! 17:15, May 26, 2018 (UTC)
Well this isn't technically an error or a broken rule so much as neglecting to update a page.
Season 13 is long over and the BigBad page still hasn't been updated, and I think it's time to come to a conclusion about who's what now that the season's finished.
Basically just saying that the page should be updated when the season is finished, coz it seems to be forgotten often and it's locked so only admins can edit it. KillRoy231 (talk) 19:58, May 26, 2018 (UTC)
Blog: Recent Post broken againEdit
- That is an issue for wikia. Please use Special:Contact to inform them. Zane T 69 (talk) 16:18, October 12, 2018 (UTC)

Saying the "D" wordEdit
The one that the show loves to use, and I don't mean damn. The one that rhymes with "tick".
For some reason, despite the word being used a lot in the show, I can't make any posts that say the word - or even that link to the Leviathan leader's article. I tested this a few times in replies on a blog post and eventually came to this conclusion, as it was consistent.
Why is saying that word disabled here? The show uses it all the time and there's even a character with that name in the show, how are we supposed to refer to him now? KillRoy231 (talk) 03:44, March 9, 2019 (UTC)
- Request: Could we get a current database dump? The last listed says 2017, and the files do not seem to exist. I'd like to do some analysis on this and other wikis like it. Thanks! —Preceding unsigned comment added by Docintangible (talk • contribs)
