This unnamed man was the father of Sam Winchester's childhood classmate, Stephanie.
Background[]
He was the gracious host of the first real Thanksgiving Sam ever experienced, a memory he held from age eleven. During dinner, he cheerfully exposed his daughter for having talked about Sam constantly since his recent enrollment at their school (which exposed her massive crush on him); Stephanie promptly yelled at him to shut up. He apparently didn't notice Stephanie laying a hand on Sam's thigh under the table.
Sam found himself experiencing this memory again after he and Dean were killed by two disgruntled hunters and sent to Heaven.
