Supernatural was renewed for a fourteenth season by The CW on April 2, 2018.[4] The season consists of 20 episodes[1] and airs on Thursdays at 8PM EST.[5]

Preparation for the season began on June 20, 2018.[6] Filming began on July 10, 2018 and ended on March 26, 2019.[7]

The season premiered on October 11, 2018 with Stranger in a Strange Land [3] and ended on April 25, 2019 with Moriah. The Supernatural: The Complete Fourteenth Season DVD was released on September 10, 2019.
