The Scooby Gang is a group of "mystery hunters" that search for mysteries while driving around in the Mystery Machine on the television show, Scooby-Doo, Where Are You!, along with many other TV and movie adaptations. The gang appeared in the season 13 episode Scoobynatural when Sam and Dean Winchester, along with the angel Castiel, are transported into their television world.

History

Season 2

In Playthings, Sam and Dean go on a ghost hunt to a Victorian mansion. Dean states that they never get to check out classic haunted houses, and says they might even run into Fred and Daphne while inside. He then expresses interest in Daphne.

Season 3

In The Magnificent Seven, Dean and Sam, along with Bobby Singer, tell Tamara and Isaac that they should fight the Seven Deadly Sins together. Isaac retorts, saying that this isn't Scooby-Doo and he doesn't want to work with the ones who opened the gates to Hell.

Season 4

In Family Remains, Dean and Sam are at a house hunting what they believed was a ghost. As they attempt to get the family out of the house, little boy Danny Carter asks if they are like Scooby-Doo, to which Dean replies they are better.

Season 6

In All Dogs Go To Heaven, Dean asks the skinwalker Lucky where his "little Scooby gang" is, referring to his pack of skinwalkers. Lucky responds by telling them they are laying low while they wait for the alpha skinwalker to come.

Season 9

In Dog Dean Afternoon, Dean uses an Inuit animal communication spell to communicate with The Colonel. When Sam points out that the spell was causing him to act like a dog, Dean whimpers and then uses Scooby's iconic phrase, "r'uh r'oh!".

In Thinman, Dean and Sam are on a hunt when they see the Ghostfacers van outside of a restaurant. They go inside and see Ghostfacers' leaders Ed Zeddmore and Harry Spangler. Dean then tells them that they need to get into their "mystery machine," referring to their van, and leave before he shoots them in the knees.

Season 11

In Form and Void, Crowley and Dean are searching Jenna Nickerson's house for Jenna and baby Amara, and Dean yells for Jenna. Crowley then warns him that they are basically telling Amara that they are coming,to which Dean replies by calling him Velma and that they aren't the Scooby gang, so he needs to shut up or leave. Crowley retorts by saying he's "way more of a Daphne."

Season 12

In LOTUS, Dean and Sam go to a monastery looking for Lucifer, who had possessed an archbishop. As they reach the door, Dean tells Sam that, if this is in fact Lucifer, that they'll call the rest of the Scooby gang, referring to Crowley, Castiel, and Rowena MacLeod.

In Regarding Dean, while Dean is under Gideon Loughlin's memory erasing spell, he sits in his and Sam's hotel room while Rowena explains the spell and Dean's possibility of dying from it. Sam decides to turn the TV on to distract Dean, showing the episode of Scooby-Doo, Where Are You!, titled "Hassle in the Castle". Scooby is shown on the TV.

Season 13

In The Rising Son, Dean, Sam, and Jack get a hotel room on their way back from North Cove, Washington to their bunker in Lebanon, Kansas. Jack sits down on one of the two beds and turns on the TV showing the Scooby-Doo, Where Are You! episode "That's Snow Ghost". Scooby is shown on the TV, until Dean walks over. He then proceeds to take the remote from Jack. He gets distracted watching it, but then turns the TV off and tells Jack he is on the couch.

In Scoobynatural, Dean and Sam are given a brand-new TV. When the TV starts to act odd, sending Sam, Dean, and Castiel into the Scooby-Doo, Where Are You! episode "A Night of Fright Is No Delight" where they team up with Daphne Blake, Fred Jones, Scooby-Doo, Shaggy Rogers, and Velma Dinkley to solve a mystery. While Sam and Castiel want to use them to escape, Dean wants to keep them "pure." Castiel is confused by the fact that Scooby is a talking dog and Shaggy only adds to it. Dean attempts to take Daphne from Fred, to no avail. Sam attempts to convince Velma that ghosts and the supernatural are, in fact, real.
