Dean: Still driving the plastic piece of crap, huh?
Sam: What's your mileage, again?
Dean: Shut up.
— Dean and Sam, jousting about their cars

This car was a black 2006 SRT8 Dodge Charger that Sam drove while Dean, believing Sam to be dead, was living a civilian life.

Season 6Edit

It's unknown where or how he got this car or if he purchased it, but Sam started driving it sometime after his release from the cage and while he hunted with the Campbells. After reuniting with Dean and hunting with him for the first time in a year, he is seen pulling out of Dean and Lisa's driveway. After initially deciding not to resume hunting, Dean offered Sam the keys to the Impala. Sam declined, reasoning that he had his car set up the way he liked it.

Dean and Baby win.

It was the Winchesters' mode of transportation during "Two and a Half Men", as Baby was still covered and on hiatus in the garage of the home Dean shared with Lisa and Ben Braeden. When Dean climbed into the car, he found that it was equipped with a warning bell that sounded until the seat belts were engaged. Annoyed, he commented: "What am I, in third grade? A car should drive, not be a little bitch".

Sam's car is last seen with a Castiel-shaped impression in its roof.

After Baby was released from retirement, Dean met up with Sam and his car in "The Third Man." He seized an opportunity to assert Baby's superiority by engaging Sam in a race to a designated location, which Dean and Baby won. Sam's car was ultimately totaled as the result of a fierce struggle between Castiel and one of Raphael's soldiers. Dean, as a parting shot, referred to the destruction of the car as the "silver lining" of the bad situation they found themselves in at the time.

Trivia Edit

  • The actual car was purchased by assistant director John MacCarthy in November 2011.
