Rukiya Bernard (b. January 20th, 1983) is a Canadian actress, producer and interior designer. She is known for her role as Doc in SyFy's Van Helsing (for which she was nominated for a Leo Award), The Cabin in the Woods, The Day the Earth Stood Still, and Stuck.

In Supernatural, Rukiya portrayed Camille Thibodeaux in the Season 7 episode "The Mentalists" and Mia Vallens in the Season 13 episode "The Big Empty".

HistoryEdit

Rukiya was born in Toronto, Ontario, to Nyakiringa Magugu, an African art store owner and Gilbert Bernard, a car wash owner. She was accepted into Ryerson University's theatre program to which she graduated with honours.

Rukiya's first job was the supporting role of Sophie Newman in Ernest Dickerson's award-winning Our America. As an interior designer, Rukiya has starred on HGTV's reality TV show The Stagers for two seasons.

Rukiya is the mother of two children.
