Ruby's church is an abandoned church used by the demon Ruby as a hiding place for the Occultum.
History[]
During the lead up to the Apocalypse, the angel Anael approaches Ruby after receiving the Occultum with the plan to hide inside of it until the Apocalypse is over. Ruby takes the Occultum and hides it inside of this church under a floorboard marked by the tip of the image of a cross created by moonlight shining through the church's window. Ruby also leaves two hellhounds to guard the church where they remain even after her death.
In 2020, Castiel learns of the Occultum's location from Ruby inside of the Empty. In order to complete the next step in Billie's plan to kill God, Castiel, the Winchesters and Jack travel to the church, but are surprised by the presence of the hellhounds as Ruby didn't tell Castiel about them. Barricading themselves inside of the church, the group manages to find the Occultum which Jack swallows and is transported to the Garden of Eden.
As the hellhounds break into the church, Jack returns in the form of a ball of light that disintegrates the hellhounds with waves of energy.
