A civilian who figured out shapeshifters (he called them mandroids), and took matters into his own hands.
Background
Ronald Reznick was a bank employee who witnessed a robbery committed by a co-worker Juan. Ronald was convinced however that it was not the real Juan who committed the crime. Ronald researches the crimes, and concludes that the crimes are committed by Mandroids.
Sam and Dean, in the guise of FBI agents, take Ronald's research, and Sam tries to convince him that nothing 'unnatural' is happening.
Ronald works out where the next robbery will take place, as do Sam and Dean. Ronald takes everyone in the bank hostage, and then works with the boys to uncover the shape-shifter. Ronald is killed by a SWAT sniper.
He later returns as a vengeful spirit in season 4, when a seal is broken. He bore a Mark of the Witness. Bobby, Sam and Dean manage to perform a ritual to free the spirits.
