The Recharging Spell is a spell that can theoretically be used to recharge the grace of an angelic being. It was created by the shaman Sergei.
Overview[]
In order to save the Nephilim Jack Kline, Castiel goes to the shaman Sergei, who gives him a vial of Gabriel's grace as well a spell that may at least slow Jack's state of deterioration. In the Men of Letters bunker, Rowena MacLeod performed the spell but unfortunately it didn't work and Jack's condition only worsened.
When called by Castiel, Sergei revealed that the spell was only an experiment and he didn't actually know if it would work or not.
Procedure[]
Recharged Jack.
The spell requires not only a grace of an angelic being in equal level of its target, but also an enchantment. As the being consumes the grace, a second party recites the incantation:
- Potione hac, restitutus Eris. Omnia erunt sicut erant!
Roughly Translation:
- When you drink this, you will be restored and things will be as they were.
Subsequently, the target's eyes, in this case Jack, glow golden and they appear to be recharged. However, the effects of the spell were only temporary.
