This unnamed angel was a spy dispatched by Raphael to discover who stole the Weapons from Heaven.

Season 6[]
This angel was spying on Castiel, Sam and Dean and when Castiel revealed Balthazar's identity. The spy lunged at Castiel, and after a short fight, the spy and Castiel jump out of a window. The spy angel then disappeared and returned to Heaven to relay the information he gathered. As Castiel later purged Heaven of his enemies, it could be presumed that the spy died during the said purge.[1]
