These unnamed angels were angels who joined and work for archangel Raphael, as apart of his loyalists faction and acted as his guards.
Background[]
During the beginning phases of the secondary heavenly civil war, these angels joined Raphael either willingly or through coercion. Also, they went to Earth and acquired vessels to possess in order to manifest in Heaven.
In "The Third Man", Castiel described a civil war forming in Heaven and said that Raphael had many followers, which would include the guards.
In "The Man Who Would Be King", when Castiel confronted Raphael in Ken Lay's heaven, these angels were on standby and guarded him.
After Castiel absorbed all the souls from Purgatory and the Leviathans, Castiel annihilated every single one of Raphael's followers and dominated the battlefield, including the guards and won the war.
Powers and Abilities[]
- Immortality - As angels, the guards can't age or die, unless killed by supernatural weapons or beings.
- Possession - As angels, the guards could possess vessels to manifest on the Earth and materialize in Heaven, and required their consent to do so.
