It will work. The Rafforza l'incantesimo is a potent transubstantiation spell. It can turn gossamer into concrete. Like I said, get me close to the epicenter, find me a nice protected ghost-free space, I'll patch those crumbling walls right up and we'll all be home in time for high tea.

in The Rupture

The Rafforza l'incantesimo is a potent transubstantiation spell from the Book of the Damned.

OverviewEdit

In an attempt to strengthen the Soul Containment Barrier Spell, Rowena performs the Rafforza l'incantesimo. However, the barrier proves to be too weak and the ghosts too strong, causing the spell to fail.

ProcedureEdit

The spell requires a few ingredients poured into a bowl. Once the ingredients are set up, the caster has to recite the following incantation:

"Prendi ciò che è debole, rendilo forte. D'una piuma d'oca fai una spada. D'una piuma d'oca fai una spada. D'una piuma d'oca fai una spada. Dalla nebbia cemento -- dalla nebbia cemento possente, impenetrabile, inflessibile. Rendilo forte. Rendilo forte. Rendilo forte. Rendilo forte."

If the spell works, the effects can be seen as the incantation is performed. However, if the spell fails, the caster can sense it and why and the spell appears to cause a minor magical backlash against the caster.
