Mrs. Butters is a wood nymph who was the housekeeper of the Bunker for the Men of Letters since WWII until the destruction of the American chapterhouse in 1958, and briefly in 2020.
History
Background
Mrs. Butters is the name given to a wood nymph by the Men of Letters, as her true name is incomprehensible in any human language. At some time during World War II, she was captured and experimented on by the Thule Society before being found by the Men of Letters after she massacred over 200 Nazis. After learning that wood nymphs can become violently hostile when their home or family is attacked, Cuthbert Sinclair offered Mrs. Butters a home at the Men of Letters Bunker, to protect and take care of its members, which she gladly accepted.
When the Men of Letters did not return from the initiation of Henry Winchester and Josie Sands in 1958 (because unbeknownst to Mrs. Butters they were all killed in the massacre led by Abaddon), Mrs. Butters put herself and the Bunker in stand-by mode, where she remained until she was released in 2020 by Dean Winchester when he rebooted the Bunker's system, freeing her.

- Electrokinesis - She used her power to give the Men of Letters bunker an "extra oomph", powering the entirety of the bunker's performance capabilities.
- Hibernation - She was able to put herself in "standby mode" along with the bunker for decades.
- Conjuration - She instantly created a bouquet of flowers for Sam to bring to his date.
- Healing - She healed Sam's torn nails before she left.
- Shapeshifting - She is able to transform between her true nymph form and human form. She is also able to transform just her eyes without transforming fully. In the shape of a nymph, Mrs. Butters' eyes are a bright green color.
- Super Strength - She possesses strength greater than that of a normal human. She easily ripped a Thule member's head off with her bare hands.
- Telekinesis - She tossed a weakened Jack away using telekinesis, and later, using that ability, she stopped Sam from firing his weapon against her and constrained him to a chair. Later, she telekinetically flung Sam, Dean and a weakened Jack, knocking them down.
- Teleportation - She was able to teleport out of the supernaturally warded Men of Letters bunker.

- Mrs. Butters is not a fan of blue language.
- Her exact weaknesses are unknown since the Winchesters never bothered to research how to kill a wood nymph due to how much fun they were having with her. Dean suggests just shooting her, but its unclear if this would've actually worked or not.
