Maurice was a rogue Reaper hired by the angel Bartholomew to track down Castiel, when the latter warded himself against the angels.

Dean killed Maurice
After being hired as a freelancer to find Castiel by Bartholomew, he follows Sam and Dean Winchester for quite a while so they can lead him to Castiel. Much to his regret, the brothers noticed him and take him captive. They torture him to get information about his intentions. He tells them that Bartholomew is the new leader of the angels and Naomi was dead. When he provokes Dean that he could kill him because the angels will find Castiel anyway, Dean stabs him with an angel blade without any hesitation.
Powers and Abilities[]
- Invulnerability - As a Reaper, very few things could harm and kill Maurice.
- Possession - As a Reaper, Maurice could manifest on his own, however he chose to possess a vessel to walk the Earth, presumably to draw less attention.
- Immortality - Reapers are not subjected to hunger, disease, or age.
Weaknesses[]
- Angel Blades - Maurice was killed with an angel blade.
- Supernatural Handcuffs - These handcuffs were able to restrain Maurice.

Trivia[]
- Although as a Reaper he could have followed Sam and Dean while being invisible, he chose not to do so. The reason is unknown.
- When Sam and Dean were torturing him, the angel blade wasn't covered up with blood although his physical form was bleeding.
- Actor Artine Brown previously portrayed a Security Guard in the Season 4 episode "Lucifer Rising".
- Maurice was the second rogue reaper to appear in the series. The first was Ajay, and the third was April Kelly.
