Maura Leahy (nee Durbin) is Padraic Leahy's wife and mother of Eillen Leahy. She also daughter of Edward Durbin II, a Men of Letters representative in Europe send with the American Branch.
History
Maura born to Durbin Family. When young, presumably, her father taught her many basic things in magic to protect herself. At some point she married Padraic Leahy and have a daughter, Eillen.
In 1985, when she was dancing with Padraic, he heard a high pitching scream heard inside his head. Maura, knowing it was a Banshee attacking, prepared a Banishing Banshee Spell to banish it. However, she's too late as he later plunged into the Banshee influence, killing himself. The Banshee, however known her intention, fling her across a room and send her crashed a glass wardrobe. When the Banshee tried to eat Eillen, she (in bled out condition) sacrifices herself to save Eillen life and complete the banishing spell.
Powers and Abilities
As a legacy of Men of Letters, she taught by her father many basic things in magic.
- Spellcasting - Although unknown how about her mastery in spellcasting, at least she able to create a spell to banish a Banshee, albeit the spell itself caused her killed when performed it due to massive blood lost.
