We are in the furthest reaches of Hell — Limbo — where I send unruly souls for time-outs.
Crowley
in O Brother, Where Art Thou?

Limbo was a place in the furthest parts of Hell, where unruly souls were placed for "timeouts" by Crowley, the King of hell. The realm was completely engulfed with countless thunderstorms in the middle of darkness and void, adorned by countless scattered skeletons that led to an empty cage. In this place, Sam Winchester, Crowley, and Rowena performed a ritual to safely summon Lucifer.
