The Leviathan Tablet is one of three Words of God. It pertains to the nature of Leviathans.
History[]
In 2012, Dick Roman excavated one of these tablets in Iraq, and had it flown to the United States on a private jet leased from Donald Trump. Out of curiosity, Sam and Dean Winchester sent an employee of Dick, Charlie Bradbury, to hack into Dick's computer to find out what he was retrieving.
The brothers managed to steal the tablet before a Leviathan can retrieve from the airport. Once they've cracked open the stone encasing, Kevin Tran was chosen as the next Prophet. Kevin developed a near-uncontrollable urge to protect this artifact. Sam and Dean initially sought Castiel out for help in translating the tablet's contents, but Castiel was unable to. In his crazed state, Castiel teleported away, dropping the tablet causing it to break into three pieces.
Kevin then tried to steal the tablet, but were caught by Sam and Meg. Kevin repaired the tablet himself, and was able to translate it, providing Sam and Dean with the knowledge on how to kill a Leviathan.
Shortly after, Dick obtains the tablet and forces Kevin to translate it for him, or he will kill Kevin's mother, Linda Tran. After Kevin translated the tablet, Dick released Linda as promised and sent Edgar to kill the Alpha Vampire so that his blood could not be used against the Leviathans.
Using the information from the Leviathan Tablet, the Winchesters built a weapon capable of killing Leviathans. It was then used by Dean and Castiel to kill Dick, defeating the Leviathans.
The tablet's current whereabouts are unknown. It was last seen within SucroCorp.
