This unnamed Leviathan took on the form of Dean Winchester, after he got a sample of Dean's DNA from a motel bathroom. He and Leviathan Sam posed as the Winchesters and shot up locations across the United States to put them on the Most Wanted List.
History[]
Season 7[]
Leviathan Dean, along with Leviathan Sam, committed several murders in Jericho, California; Black Water Ridge, Colorado; Lake Manitoc, Wisconsin; St. Louis, Missouri; and Ankeny, Iowa - all places where the real Winchester brothers had already worked cases (during the time of Season 1). Their plan was to frame Dean and Sam so that, once they were arrested, they would have been easy to locate and kill. He drove a '67 Impala almost identical to the one that Dean drives, except for its custom rims and Illinois license plate.
Leviathan Dean preferred impersonating the older Winchester, but only because he liked Dean's hairstyle over Sam Winchester's. However, he did not agree with Dean about how good burgers really are or that Dean is funny. He claimed the real reason he hated impersonating Dean is because he and Sam were "wasting a perfectly good opportunity to subjugate the weak." Despite this, he turned down the other Leviathan when asked to switch and impersonate Sam instead.
When he had Sam trapped in an interrogation room in Iowa, he informed him that Dean killed Amy Pond before attempting to eat him. The real Dean, however, arrived in time and decapitates him with a fire axe. Dean and Sam then took his and Leviathan Sam's heads to dispose of, separate from their bodies, which they leave with Sheriff Osborne. Their bodies are eventually recovered by the Leviathan posing as Agent Valente.
Powers and Abilities[]
As a low-ranking Leviathan, he possessed basic Leviathan abilities.
- Powerful Jaws - Leviathan Dean possessed a set of large retractable jaws to effortlessly eat humans and other Leviathans.
- Poisonous Blood - Leviathan Dean can transform into his true black goo form, Chet implied him and Leviathan Sam did this to get a sample of Sam and Dean's hair from a shower drain.
- Super Strength - As a Leviathan, he was stronger than most demons, angels and all humans.
- Shapeshifting - He was able to assume the form of Dean Winchester. He could also access the memories of the human he became.
- Invulnerability - He was invulnerable to most forms of harm.
Weaknesses[]
Leviathan Dean possessed weaknesses inherent in all Leviathans.
- Higher Leviathans - He was subservient to superiors such as Dick Roman.
- Borax - Borax was able to burn him and cause him great pain.
- Decapitation - Dean Winchester was able to neutralise him via decapitation.
