In the early 20th Century, Letica Gore ran a ophanage. Three of the childeren she looked after, scalped her own son (possibly because she was strict), in a rage she killed the childern, and then killed herself. It was later believed she killed them all herself.
In her death, her ghost stayed behind, keeping the ghosts of the three orphans under control, by design, on the aneversary of the even, the first supernatural convention was held, and this disturbed her ghost, who began lashing out at people.
Sam and Dean went to burn her, but were attacked with her, however she went after two fans who were LARPing, giving them time to salt and burn her body, however this ment there was nothing keeping the ghosts of the orphans under control.
