Leticia Gore was the ghost of an orphanage caretaker who became the vilified subject of local legend.
History
Leticia ran an orphanage in the early 20th century, in addition to having a son of her own to look after. It was believed that she killed four young boys in her charge, including her son, who was also scalped. The ghosts of the Gores and the three orphans all continued to haunt the area.
In 2009, on the 100th anniversary of the murders, the first Supernatural convention was held at the site of the orphanage, which by then had been renovated and transformed into the Pineview Hotel. The activity disturbed the spirits, and Leticia was the one who seemed to be lashing out at convention-goers. After Sam and Dean learned about the contemporary police reports on Leticia, they set out to burn her remains.
