You told me you were asleep that night. Downstairs watching TV. Maybe...Maybe you're mixing you're dreams into what really happened-
Julie was the best friend of Mary Winchester. She often looked after Sam and Dean Winchester at the request of their father, John Winchester.
Background[]
Julie eventually became the best friend of Mary prior to the latter's death and was saddened when upon hearing the news that her friend had died. She was visited on Thursday, November 10, 1983 where John had his sons sleep over. That night, the two talked about what had really happened with Julie believing John's story that he saw Mary die on the ceiling was due to falling asleep watching the television.
When John insisted that he was telling the truth and that Mary's killer had her pinned to the ceiling and had set her on fire, his anger woke Dean up who came to check on the commotion with Julie showing concern for the Winchester's father claiming that he needed help but that she did not mind babysitting.
After John left that night, she was murdered by an unknown force unknown to the Winchester brothers who were asleep upstairs.
Aftermath and death[]

John finds Julie's remains in her house.
At 11:27PM, she was killed and the only remains left of her were founded by John who came across an arm on the floor and blood on the walls and furniture, the latter then took his sons away after he and Missouri Mosely returned to the house after Missouri had a vision of a message.
