John F. Showalter

John F. Showalter is a producer and director of the series Supernatural. In Season 15, he took on the role of Co-Executive Producer following the departure of Phil Sgriccia. He also served as a producing director for the spinoff, The Winchesters.

Showalter has also directed episodes of Threshold, Shark, Viva Laughlin and Without a Trace.

Trivia

• In the episode Inherit the Earth, a tribute to Showalter is made. As Jack and the brothers converse towards the end, there is a scene featuring a mechanic's shop named Showalter's, in homage to the director.
