Jim McAnn was one of the three owners of the MidWestern Brewery Company, the other are Randy Baxter and Dale Lampert, makers of Thighslapper Premium Ale. He has four children, Lillian, Trevor, Ray, and Maria. Lillian has a daughter, Tess.
Season 7[]
He and Randy Baxter decided to sell the Brewery to large distributor, overriding Dale's wishes. Dale is distraught and before killing himself, he sends them a bottle of saki containing a vengeful Shojo, which will destroy what they hold dear.
The Shojo attacks and kills first Trevor, his brother Ray and then Lillian. The deaths of his children are later avenged by Dean Winchester when he kills the Shōjō with a katana.
