Trivia[]
- Jim is the only cast member aside from Jensen Ackles and Jared Padalecki to appear in every season.
- Beaver originally did not believe "new guy" Misha Collins could beat his episode count. When Misha did just that, Jim lamented how "the mighty have fallen".
- Jim once made a joke that his tombstone would mention his kiss with Mark Sheppard.
- Around the time The Future aired, Jim Beaver tweeted to Andrew Dabb that he was sad he couldn't appear in Season 12 and hoped to appear in and early episode of Season 13. When the Season 12 finale aired, it was revealed that Jim had been lying, as Bobby Singer did get an appearance.
- Jim believed Bobby held respect for John Winchester as a hunter, but not as a father.
- Jim is one of two Supernatural actors to appear on the critically acclaimed AMC Drama Breaking Bad, the other being DJ Qualls. Jim later plays the same role in the show's spin-off prequel Better Call Saul.
- Robert Singer, Beaver's character on The Boys is a gag reference to his character Bobby Singer on the Kripke-produced series Supernatural, as well as the Supernatural producer which the character is named after, Robert Singer.
