Jesus Christ is the central figure of Christianity and is said to be the son of God, who at some point is believed to have sent him to Earth to save humanity. Other depictions hold Him to be part of God, a mere Prophet, or a simple man. This ambiguity is present in the way the show treats Him in-universe.

It was modified and changed by the Romans into the Latin "Christus" meaning Christ, or sometimes mistakenly "Chrestus," the "Marked Man." "Christo" could arguably work to the same effect as was depicted, literally Latin meaning "by/in Christ."[3]
