As the music starts to play. an unknown women comes into the house from a possible business trip. She then asks the man who started the Record what he is doing to which he replies "She loves this song" He then pulls the women into a dance with him as they talk to each other. it is at this moment that the baby starts screaming and the man hears a loud scream. That of a banshee who continues to scream as he bashes his head against the wall until he falls down dead. The banshee then floats over to him and eats his brains whilst as the baby begins to cry. This attracts the Banshee to the source of the noise but just as it is about to attack the baby. The babys mother slices her hand to cast a spell. Seemingly destroying the banshee (although it was actually the gold on the babies neck that did it). |

Holding up a newspaper that reads "RETIREE FOUND SLAIN". Sam hesitates as Dean says what he thinks it might be until Sam brings up [[Castiel]] and [[Amara]]. Dean tells Samuel that "We have nothing on Amara and Castiel will be fine. He always is". Another cut is made to Lucifer standing at a park next to lake watching children play. He appears to find it entertaining however an angel appears from seemingly nowhere. Lucifer then walks into the woods. whistling as he goes along. The angel naturally follows him and confronts him saying "I couldn't believe my eyes". They have a brief exchange of words before Lucifer kills him by exploding him with a mere click of his fingers in self-defense. |

Summary
DEE WALLACE GUEST STARS — Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean (Jensen Ackles) investigate a case where people are suffering violent deaths after hearing a mysterious scream.
Plot
The episode starts in an unknown house which is in County Cork, Ireland, 30 years ago. A record spins around on a record player. As the music starts to play. an unknown women comes into the house from a possible business trip. - Sam is revealed to know a little sign language. He learned some while in college.
- The sign that Sam assumes is "thank you" at first is actually the sign for "f*ck". He is then corrected.
- This episode marks the first time the Winchesters have salt-and-burned a body since Bad Boys. However the salt and burn failed to dispatch the monster.
- The alternate title “Into the Mystic” is a Van Morrison song, about…death or saying goodbye.
