Healing

Healing is the ability (literally, the act) of alleviating or ameliorating injury and wounds. The efficiency of it varies from healer to healer.

This is a separate ability to healing factor or regeneration as it is one being able to heal another, not just themselves. Like resurrection, angels usually require the power of Heaven to heal though Grigori, Seraphim and archangels are able to use the power even while cut off.

God's ability to heal is shown to be extremely powerful: without being in Sam's presence, he healed him of his demon blood addiction and cured Sam and a town of a Rabid infection without being near everyone he healed. God was also able to effortlessly heal Lucifer's extensive injuries with just a finger wave.

His older sister's ability to heal is shown to be even more powerful: after reconciling with God, the Darkness was able to heal the fatal damage her nigh-omnipotent powers did to him, without any difficulty.

According to Castiel, it is not possible for an angel to heal an archangel.

Through magics, humans have shown the ability to perform healing. In particular, witch Rowena MacLeod created a powerful healing spell capable of healing even a wound in the Earth created by God himself leading to Hell.

Primordial Entities
- The Darkness - Was able to heal God of the immense damage her powers did to him, with apparent ease. Was believed by God to be able to heal the severe damage done to him by The Equalizer.
- God - Was able to heal Lucifer's injuries from The Darkness's torture. Healed Sam's demon blood addiction when transporting him onto a plane.
Archangels
- Michael - Healed Sam's injuries when resurrecting him.
- Lucifer - Healed Wendy Vincente of her paralysis. Healed Anael's neck wound after extracting some of her grace. Healed Sam's neck wound and massive blood loss while resurrecting him.
- Alternate Reality Michael - Healed Lucifer of the cut he made in his neck while removing some of Lucifer's grace.
Angels - Through the power of Heaven.
- Gadreel - He quickly healed Sam Winchester from injuries inflicted by shaman Leo.
  - Seraphim - Capable of healing even when cut-off from Heaven.
    - Castiel - Healed Lisa Braeden and later an unknown amount of people while "Emmanuel" when he had no memory and was a Fallen Angel. Healed the angel Ishim, making Ishim feel better than he had in "a millennium" but leaving Castiel himself weakened for a time. Healed Dean's broken arm after killing Dagon and his injured leg after the Lockdown of the Men of Letters bunker as well as the lacerations he got from fighting Arthur Ketch. Healed Shaggy Rogers' broken arm in the Scooby-Doo Universe. Attempted to heal Jack's mysterious illness to no effect. Healed Sam's injury from John Wayne Gacy, but couldn't heal his wound from The Equalizer. Afterwards, Castiel couldn't heal Arthur Ketch's gunshot wounds either, something that he found concerning.

    - Tamiel - Healed Ronnie Cartwright's blindness and worked as a faith healer as his cover for feeding on souls.
  - Rit Zien - Angelic healers specializing in healing other angels.
  - Reapers - Reapers could heal humans.

    - Jack - Healed his mother's self-inflicted wounds from the womb while resurrecting her. Healed Castiel's injuries in a matter of seconds while briefly taking partial possession of him. Healed Stacy's accidental stab wound from an angel blade. Healed Sam's serious head injury from Nick.

- Crossroad Demons - In the context of a deal.
  - Dean's Crossroad Demon - Healed Evan Hudson's wife's cancer.
  - Crowley - Healed Bobby Singer's paralysis through a deal, Ellie's mother's Parkinson's disease and a small burn on Sam's hand.
  - Barthamus - Healed Luther Shrike's son of a terminal illness after making a deal with him.
- Princes of Hell
  - Azazel - Able to heal others in the context of a deal, even if not receiving anything in return.
Humans - Through magic.
- Lily Sunder - While using Enochian magic, Lily displayed the ability to heal her own injuries in a similar manner to an angel healing.
- Witches - Extremely powerful witches can access a modicum of healing through spells.
  - Rowena MacLeod - She was able to heal the human vessel of The Darkness, after the Host of Heaven used up a combined smite on her through a spell. She also healed Oskar of a terminal illness through a spell and created a healing spell capable of closing the Rupture to Hell created by God himself by effectively healing the wound.
- Shamans - They can realign the harmonics of the universe.
  - Sergei - As a shaman he claimed to be, first and foremost a healer.
