The Greek Pantheon, also known as the Olympic Pantheon, is a group of gods and other creatures from greek mythology.

Known Members

Amazons

Amazons were created by a meeting of the pagan deities Ares and Harmonia, creating a tribe of warrior women who had no need for males, except for reproduction. At some point, they had a war, and their numbers were vastly depleted, as such they made a deal with Harmonia to save them from extinction, and she made them more than human, effectively turning them into monsters.

Ares (mentioned only, status unknown)

Ares is the Greek god of war. He is one of the Twelve Olympians, the son of Zeus and Hera. He had sex with Harmonia, and from this were originated the Amazons.

Artemis

Artemis is goddess of hunt and wildlife. She was in love with Prometheus and killed him by mistake while trying to kill her father Zeus by torturing Prometheus.

Atropos

Atropos is one of the three Fates, she is the oldest and the more inflexible of the three. Althrough, for a deity, she seen to want the general good and order of humanity. She compeld Castiel to send Balthazar back in time and not to save the Titanic.

Calliope (deceased)

Calliope was the goddess of epic poetry and one of the nine muses in greek mythology. Used to inspire creativity in directors and producers, then devours them once their play is done and their vision is realized. After praying on a Supernatural play in Fan Fiction, she was killed by Sam with a wooden stake.

Chronos (deceased)

Chronos was the god of time. When he was worshiped he gained his power from taking time from his worshipers. No longer worshiped, Chronos was forced to feed after a couple decades on three humans to stop wandering through time.

Clotho (mentioned only)

Clotho is one of the three Fates. She was only mentioned by her sister Atropos but never seen.

Gorgons

Gorgons are a type of creature from the Greek Myths. In The Scorpion and The Frog, a gorgon's fossilized tooth is shown. In Ouroboros, gorgons are revealed to be real. According to Rowena MacLeod, they are ancient cursed beings who, instead of turning their victims to stone, secrete a venom that paralyzes them. It is later stated that gorgons are demigods. Medusa was one such gorgon who was killed in ancient times. A gorgon can only be killed via decapitation with a silver blade. In the present day, Team Free Will 2.0 and Rowena hunt the gorgon Noah Ophis who is killed by Jack.

Harmonia (mentioned only, status unknown)

Harmonia is the immortal goddess of harmony and concord. She had sex with Ares, and from this were originated the original Amazons, after a war, and their numbers were vastly depleted, the Amazons made a deal with Harmonia to save them from extinction, and she made them more than human.

Hera (mentioned only, status unknown)

Hera is mentioned by name by Fortuna as one of the deities created by God. Her current fate is unknown.

Hesperus (mentioned only, status unknown)

Hesperus was only mentioned once when Beau in one of Plutus auctions when the item in question was Hesperus' Amulet

Lachesis (mentioned only)

Lachesis is one of the three Fates. She was only mentioned by her sister Atropos but never seen.

Medusa (mentioned only, deceased)

Medusa is a gorgon who was killed by the ancient hero Perseus. A painting with her can be seen in the episode Blade Runners. In Ouroboros, she is confirmed as real by Rowena MacLeod after Dean brings her up after learning that they are dealing with another gorgon.

Minotaurs

Minotaurs are a type of creature that were mentioned once by Sam along with Gorgons when he was talking about Artemis and how hunters would pray for courage for her when hunting minotaurs or gorgons.

Noah Ophis (deceased)

Noah Ophis is a gorgon hunted by Team Free Will 2.0 and Rowena MacLeod in Ouroboros. Noah reveals that as a gorgon, he is a demigod. He is decapitated by Jack with a silver machete, but not before knocking Dean unconscious, resulting in the escape of the alternate Michael from his mind.

Oblivion (deceased, tie-in books only)

Oblivion was the goddess of memory appearing in the non-canon book Bobby Singer's Guide to Hunting. After targeting Bobby Singer, she is overwhelmed by the Winchesters with their memories of Hell and then killed by Bobby with a silver knife.

Oliver (demigod, Titan)

Oliver is the demigod son of Prometheus with a mortal woman. Oliver inherited his father's curse and began dying and coming back to life every day as a result like Prometheus. Oliver's curse was broken when Prometheus sacrificed himself to kill Zeus and protect his son.

Paeon (newly-created deity, tie-in Novels only, deceased)

Paeon is a god of healing created during the Apotheosis in Corinth, Illinois based off of the physician of the Greek gods. During the Apotheosis, Paeon emerges as one of the two most powerful gods alongside Adamantine, but is stripped of most of his power by Mythmaker Renee Mendez. He is then killed with his own caduceus by Adamantine.

Pan (mentioned only, status unknown)

Pan is the satyr-god of frenzy and wildlife. He was only mentioned but never seen.

Plutus (deceased)

Plutus was the god of greed. He used to held auctions of various rare and precious artifacts. He was betrayed and killed by his assistant Beau.

Prometheus (Titan, deceased)

Prometheus was a Titan (proto-god), culture hero, and trickster figure who is credited with the creation of man from clay, and who defies the gods by stealing fire and giving it to humanity. He was cursed with Immortality and sentenced to die every day by Zeus for stealing fire from the gods and giving it to humanity. Having lost his memory, Prometheus eventually escaped from the mountain with Artemis, who loved him, purposefully not hunting for Prometheus too hard. Prometheus had a demigod son Oliver and rediscovered his true identity after Sam and Dean Winchester found him. During a final confrontation with Zeus, Prometheus was accidentally mortally wounded by Artemis with one of her arrows while she was trying to kill Zeus instead. Prometheus then sacrificed himself to kill Zeus by shoving the arrow through his body and into Zeus to keep Zeus from harming his son.

Zeus (deceased)

Zeus was the god of the sky and thunder. He cursed Prometheus with immortality and then was shot by his daughther Artemis, but managed to put Prometheus in front of him, stoping the arrow with his blood, Prometheus then stick the arrow deeper in his body in order to pass through it and hit Zeus, who then die along with Prometheus.

Trivia

  • Zeus is the only pagan deity so far to blame his pantheon's downfall to an event other than the arrival of the Abrahamic faiths. Instead, he blamed their decline to the theft of fire by Prometheus as a gift to mankind.
